Condom Fill Method

Hey John,

Right on, I read about that method. I give the cart a spin (while on the battery) so the juice migrates towards the battery end. Then I let it sit and take a look after some time has passed. If the material looks dry I juice it up. I use those little cloth bags with the draw strings to do the spin technique.

Oh goodness. No, not when it's on the battery. I keep the battery away while working with liquid.

Yeah, don't leave the battery connected while doing this. Even if you're using a manual battery (which is sealed off) it's still not a good idea. The last thing you want is for the juice to trickle down into it.

The first time I refilled, I used the condom/taryn spin method. I got about 40+ drops of juice in. I said "OMG! It takes so much juice!" I can still remember what guanu said... "Heh, be careful." Although it looked like it could definitely take in even more juice, I was greeted by a gurgling carto with a mouthful of juice. Not pleasant.

So those of you that are starting out, do not overdo it. Even if it looks like it can absorb the Pacific Ocean, don't. Just don't.

I think you misunderstood me. I give it a spin after the juice has settled which is generally after the carts have been sitting for awhile. I also make sure to peep the hole in the battery to see if any juice is leaking through. If it is then I remove it with a Q-tip. The battery is needed for weight so centrifugal force can do its job.

Oh, ok. The rubber band I use is one of the real big and heavy ones. It would make a difference, if there is not enough weight in the bag. I also folded the bottom of the bag and it's inside the big rubber band. Ok.

I've been cartomizing for about three weeks with V4L cartos. I made sure I got the Premium blanks. They are the deal! The soft rubber cap comes off easly and there is no silicone ring and that leaves room for more batting and more juice

I refill by taking the cap off and dripping about 5-10 ten drops down the sides of the barrel, spin, repeat and vape. The number of drops is dependant on how much I think I have vaped out of it. There is no juice in the mouth either if you don't add too much. If so, spin again or if you really overdo it like I have a couple times in my learning curve, reverse spin it.

I use a 30ml clear, plastic bottle with a nylon string attached to it. The bottles that 5 Hour Energy come in work great too.

Because I use an Ego and the new 510 cartos are out I'm trying to get some of the vendors to have them made like the V4L Premiums. Right now the caps are glued on (or welded it seems).

Oh and I only use this method with the hard caps. I use the drip method on the soft caps. When I use the condom fill on the soft caps, the cap came off and stayed in the condom!

I've never had that happen with the soft caps. That's strange.
