With so many ways to clean carto's. Some easy. Some time consuming. Everyone has a different opinion. I decided to do each of them. I have pics, but hard to see cause parts are so small.

All the carto's were used once and not topped off. I use waffle mostly dark juice. All pg.

First, water rinse under Facut. Followed by turkey baster hot water flush till clear. Sringe plunge till most of water was blown out.

This is decent but some old flavors still came thru. The batting I removes to get to the atty was white on top and outside but got darker toward the middle. Atty has build up and wick is still really brown. Set out to dry. Dry inside 6 days later.

Second, same as above then soak in Vodka for 15 minutes followed by water flush, turkey baster again. Set out to dry (still soaked inside 6days later)

Third, sonic cleaner with hot water. 2-15 minutes cycles. Shake over sink like thermometer. Dried in 150 degree oven battery end down for 30 minutes. Much cleaner cotton. Atty clean. Wick a little tanish. Still damp inside but vapable. (is that a word?)

Last. Sonic cleaner with vodka 15 minutes. Rinse. Sonic cleaner hot water 15 minutes. Shake over sink. Oven for 30 minutes. All white. Atty gunk free. Almost dry inside. Ready to be vaped. Looks new inside. Also the last two took more time to watch tv. Less hands on time. My preferred method now. Happy vaping.

Much cleaner atty and wick. Cotton filler about the same as 1st carto.

Hmmm, I like this idea. Hey the one on Amazon for $30ish indicates it runs a 3 minute cycle and Radiated1, you cited a 15 minute cycle. Does that indicate your machine runs longer or was that 5 - 3 minute cycles. (Just curious). Although I must say I hate to waste Vodka (LOL), perhaps Isopropyl Alcohol? Being it's going to be rinsed in H2O, shold matter.

Davo....get the cheap stuff and reuse if you are also doing a water rinse. I think all it is really doing anyway is kinda a solvent type job and breaking down the sticky stuff so it can be flushed with water:)

That's what I'm saying... I drink the cheap stuff... LMAO.. But yes, merely a solvent. I've used hot water since the beginning but I'm thinking about taking it up a notch. I have a tumbler I use to clean brass ammo shells, I wonder if that may do as well. But that little Sonic thingy looks so handy!
