Relatively still new here, I vaped for about 2 months, then went back to analogs, I am ready to try again, but I have a question when I fill my cartos sometimes liquid gets in my mouth when I vape how do I prevent this?

Maybe it's over filled? If it's too full it will sort of gurgle and splash a bit of liquid up. Are you using a drip tip on your carto? That would help (keep your mouth farther from the carto).

sounds like you are overfilling, or are getting liquid in the air hole. What method are you using? I recommend using the condom fill method and then do a tayrn spin or let it sit for a while. After you are done, blow through it with the battery off. This will get any of the juice that you got in the air hole out, then you are good to go.

Good advice, I always look at the top of my carto before I put it on the batt, I always use a paper towel to dab the bottom of carto as well. If it is over filled, you can gently blow on the top and catch the excess e juice by holding condom on bottom, this way you will not loose juice. After vaping just squeeze juice back into carto and recap with condoms. bnrk

Simply drive the needle to the bottom, along side of the carto body and filler, squeeze the bottle as you slowly pull up. This should help with overfill and stop the juice form getting in the center. Suggestion to add a drip tip is spot on.

How do you prevent it? Dont use cartos, direct dripping on an atty is far superior for taste and performance....
P.S. Get yourself a good VV/VW Mod, that will keep you off the analogs.

Thanks for all the advice, I did the drip tip for a little bit, but the Atomizers went bad, so I went to the cartos, the needle idea is a good idea.

Use this method and then top it off from time to time from the bottle by pulling the cap or drip tip off and adding a couple of drops. I use 20-25 drops in the condom when I fill that way. Use the long condom and that amount will fill it a little over half full. I tend to let it sit in the condom for about 15 minutes before I use it to make sure it penetrates well.

Did you also try using the drip tip with your cartos? That will help.

Before placing your carto on the battery, hold it to the light and see if the hole is clear. If not just blow out the excess juice.
Dab end with paper towel. Best rule of thumb is when you think O it will take 4 more drops. Don't do it.

I agree those drip tips are a wonder if you overfill.

Also draw slowly the first few draws after filling so you will get an idea if its flooded before you take a harder one. That also works to burn up some of the excess juice without pulling it up in to your mouth if you do some slow ones.

One more question ya'll, I have about from January five or six juice bottles that I have from when I went back to analogs, they have been in a drawer. Are they still good?

Yes they are fine. Extreme heat and more so light will change the appearance of juice. Just remember to shake them well. Also in regards to juice the drip does help and many upgrade to tanks with cartos or clearomizers. Less chance of dry hits and less filling of the carto/ clearo.

To keep the liquid in the filler where it belongs (and not in my mouth), I do a couple of things: Between vapes, I put my PV in something that keeps the battery tilted down/cartomizer elevated, and I keep two set-ups going at once, so I'm not over-vaping either one.
Sometimes, when it's no longer full, I'll still have some liquid wicking up the sides of the carto and getting in my mouth--then I unscrew it, and flick it downwards (like shaking down a thermometer, if you're not too young to know what I mean) two or three times. Wipe off the tip, and back in business!

Once you get the hang of it there's very little mess. Because I use a tank I only have to condom fill every 2 weeks when I start a new carto. Now that you first filled properly you can just drip into the carto as needed.

I tried the condom method and the syringe method, but I prefer to just drip from the top and then taryn spin it. I do that a few times and I am good to go. I like the dripping because it makes me feel like some mad scientist.

Each to their own LOL. If you like the Taryn Spin considering buying this for $2. The carto fits perfectly into the white conical bottle adapter. Use some string and it works great. Also come with a ml syringe for DIY juice.
