I've been requested to post my findings/review of the various cartomizers I've got, so here goes.

GreenCig: (901 thread) The draw on these is VERY hard, like trying to suck on a frozen milkshake, just without the brain freeze. Flavors range to bad to barable, throat hit is also barely there, and vapor is weak. These things are basicly a sealed unit, vape coil on bottom, being fed juice from a cartrige. They can be refilled, but not easily, acctually the hardest of all the cartos to refill. I give these a 4.

KR8/KR808D1: (901 thread) Average and possilbly the oldest of the cartos. Most get them from Vapor4Life. You can get them either blank, or in a WIDE assortment of flavors. Decent flavor, throat hit and vapor, but they burn easy. Pretty easy to avoid burning if you keep them topped off regularly, and easy to refill. Solid 6, with flavor in the pre-filleds a 8.
Premium: (901 thread) A slightly updated version of the KR8s mentioned above, they hold more juice and have slightly better performance. They come with a soft top making refilling even easier. I'd give them a 7.
Turbo: (901 thread) A much better design IMO, noticeable improvement in performance. Newer versions have soft tops as well, and you can now get blanks. I'd say 8.5.

510: (510 thread) Same as the turbos in performance, and hold 40 drops of juice in the blanks. VERY nice cartos! You can find these as well in blank soft tops. I LOVE these, best flavor, throat hit, and vapor. The draw is very smooth. Good solid 9 all round.

SmokeStik: (4081 thread) Good performance, and hold about 20 drops after vaping the pre-filled juice dry. Best thing about these is they don't burn filler, AND you can remove the filler for inspection/cleaning and put it back. You don't want to try to vape these at high voltage, they are designed for 3.7v. Even at 6v they don't burn the filler, but it will kill the carto quick. Flavor, throat hit, and vapor are about a 7.5

nJoy: (4081 thread) Lame, don't bother. But it is interesting in that the design of it is very similar to the standard carto, except that you can pull the carto apart, it seperates at the base where the threads are and would be easy to clean/refill. This is good because these only come in 2 flavors, tobacco and menthol. Flavor, throat hit and vapor are all kinda weak, around a 5.

Hope this helps. :)

Just to be clear, you can use a 901 cart on a KR-808D1 Battery?

I'd like this clarified, too. I know that 901 and kr808d-1 products are generally compatible, but the greencig cartos don't fit on regular kr8 batts (something about drilling a hole in the "G" or getting an adapter), right? Are there any other exceptions?

no one reviews the 2 piece ecig. I have used 2 brands--both of which I am pleased. Esmoke is made in the US and is very consistent--both with batteries and cartridges and the new pro is close to the size of an analog. It is expensive, Customer service is fantastic. I have, also been very satisfied with Smoke51. They are less expensive and their customer service is fantastic, also. They had trouble with shipments during the first embargo, but now they go out of their way to offer great customer service and timely shipping.

KR808D-1 cartomizers use the same threading as 901 attys/batteries. The difference is that 901 attys have a small hole drilled in the side of the atty itself for airflow, while cartomizers rely on holes in the battery connector. Because 901 attys have their own hole, they battery connector is usually sealed. You can make cartos work with them by drilling out a small hole or two in the connector, just below the threads. All whatever-to-901 adapters that I've seen have proper ventilation, so if you're using an adapter, you don't have to worry about it.

I've never used a greencig carto, but it appears they have gone out of their way to make their stuff incompatible with everything else out there. I wouldn't buy anything from them for that reason alone.

I have been thinking about getting cartomizers. I have a 510/Tornado. Where did you find the 510 cartos?
Vapor Kings has them, but they specify they are NOT Joyetech brand. Having NO experience with cartos, I don't want my first try to be disappointing. Those you tried...are they Joye...or off-brand?

Thanks for any help!

Here's the link: Blank 510 Mega Cartomizers These are the 510 Mega Cartomizers that the OP was talking about (I think). I have them and they work on my Tornado with or without the cone. They are the best (IMHO).

Luisa, catomizers ARE the 2 piece ecig! EVERY ecig has a battery, (piece #1) then they either have an atty and cartrige, OR a cartomizer. It doesn't matter who makes them, or what they call them, the basic design is the same. You said you have 2 brands, Smoke51 and Esmoke? I hate to say it, but you paid WAY WAY too much! Go get a 510 battery somewhere (try this if on a budget, it will have all you need) then get a box of 510 cartos and some juice. Then come back here and tell us how much more you like that setup and how much cheaper it is. :)

For people on a tight budget, check out this review.

All one needs to do is to drill a small airhole in the "G" on Greencig carto to make it work on kr8 and 901 batts, I hear. Or use an adapter.

Yup, drilled a little hole in my cart on the G and the draw is fine. Now, if they would only do better flavors and make refilling easier.

I much prefer the turbos from vapornine.

    Hello, Katmar!:)

    Hiya, Katya, how you doin'????
Haven't tried Drew's yet, but are they the same manufacturer as the turbos from Ben??

I'm curious, are the 510 Cartos just bigger Turbo or 'premium' 808's with a 510 thread? Is Anything but the size and thread different?

510 cartos fit right on your 510 battery, I believe.:)
