I was always partial to TMNT, Transformers and Thundercats... but I have a few legendaries not yet mentioned.

My Pet Monster;

Captain N

Captain Power; (Okay, not technically a cartoon but has computer generated bad guys)

Captain Planet;

The Smoggies;

Ghostbuters;

Beetlejuice;

And last but definitely not least...

Freakazoid;

I was OBSESSED with Beetlejuice, My Pet Monster, and Freakazoid. Might explain how I turned out the way I did.

lol those are some true legendary titles.......never heard of Captain Power through....was it something like reboot?

Captain Power was a short lived show and you could buy a "Gun" that you could use to shoot the bad guys during the credits of the show, lol, the premise made no difference with a toy like that. I think it was something about a dude (Captain Power) who was killing robots in the future? The show came out in 89.

oh yes....i had to see the thumb nail of the clip, with tank, and captain....ermm not sure his name.....they had the accessories where you could play with the show via infra red......sad to see the cartoon die and be forgotten by some (ahem....like me). Have to admit it was ahead of it's time for live action and costume's......If i am not mistaken it paved the way for Terminator 2....then 3 and finally 4...

Never really watched Magilla Gorilla though i looked on youtube.....think i was missing out with that one :(

I'm astounded that nobody has mentioned G.I. Joe yet. Um, hello? It came on right after transformers.

:facepalm: we never got it in Timmins Ontario......not in English anyway, coming from a french family and refusing to learn french left me out of the loop. I did not know what G.I Joe was until the movie came out.

but........and here is one for the masses Banana phone 100% clean and innocent
And now i am going to run and hide laughing.........this will get me de-furred by the community i am sure

Nice to see Flintstones & Scooby Doo were mentioned, I was starting to feel really old here.

And we can't forget Popeye, or Casper either :D and of course the Chipmunks.

depends which chipmunks you mean......if you mean chip and dale already covered :p you mean Alvin, Simon, Theodor your right we did miss them!! Thinking on what kids do not know, they find it hard to believe we saw the popularity of the internet burst onto the scene in the 1990's (complete with url yellow pages -- anyone else remember those books?) or that we had computers with a whopping 500mb hard drive =)).......the annoying computer mice that had the track balls that forever needed cleaning....pocket pc's rocked on before the iphone :blink: things were nice and simple then...
