The ones stormy is making are kinda similar to the ones vaporescence is selling. Only difference is the seals really.
I used a dremel cutting wheel to put the slot in the carto. Im guessing you could use the wheel in a drill too. You can get the wheels at home depot or lowes for a few bucks. I put the slot in the lowest spot I could based upon where the seal of the tank was. Just cut through (you could probably drill it too and save from buying the wheel) until you can see the filler.

Well the filler is super packed in there so it kinda does the work on its own. Tweezers will remove anything that gets stuck. I didnt have anything get stuck with my dremmel wheel.

PI the Fusion is stainless steel...The rule for drilling SS is go very slow and use a sharp drill bit...Spin the drill bit fast and it will burn it up..The Dremel cut off wheel will work in a drill but it will be a slow go..

That gives me another idea, guys; we've got a mini-milling machine here at work. Looks like it came out of a box of Cracker Jacks, but it ought to work great.
And here is the first ever Fusion TankHits like a freight train. Need some better seals and it will be awesome!
Chopped a notch in a 2.6 ohm fusion carto and tanked it up. So far not leaking and perfect hit ever time. Only hold about 1.5 ml as it is though. With better seals would be a solid 2 ml plus whatever the carto holds.

I always drip straight on the carto filler to top it off. I actually never have an end piece (rubber tip or drip tip) on my cartos at all. I just leave them open and drip to top them off. I drip at a slight angle on one side and when juice starts to show in the filler on the other side, it's full. It might be a drop or so over-full, in which case I'll just vape a drop off with a slurpy sounding pull or dab the top of the filler off with some tissue.
That's probably excessive background, but in my experience, if it is overfull by just a couple drops, to where the "water table" is higher than the draw tube thing inside, performance really suffers until the extra juice is vaped or dabbed off. Also, it seems to me that I am more likely to get filler burn when the over-filled carto is flooded and it is boiling juice instead of vaporizing it straight off.
So I just need help understanding how the carto doesn't flood before I go drop $30 on a tank? Does this set up have a slurpy pull to it?
Well you can get the tank allot cheaper (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/167225-best-3-tank-mod-youll-see-today.html) and you can use a carbide blade in a drill or use a hack saw, just don't cut into the filler. The pressure equalizes from the tank to the carto is what keeps the juice in them.

See my post above as to why it dosent flood. Or at least my theory. I havent had a flooding, leaking, or sloppy draw problem yet. Im not much on fluid dynamics but comparing it to a gravity fed dog water bowl is the best I got.
The dog bowl makes sense. With the dog bowl in mind, have you tried a lower cut? It looks about mid point in your photo. I'm wondering if you go too low, maybe it wouldn't saturate the filler as well, but the lower you go the more time you'd have between tank refills...si/no?
Soooo I got some 2.5 ohm dual coils today. Pretty interesting. Definitely alot different from the ikenvape dual coils and some of the others ive tried. Dont think the price difference compared to a fusion is worth it though. Still cant beat a fusion. Only thing I can honestly see beating a fusion is a MEGA fusion
