CASAA Regional Representatives Needed!

I have applied to help in my City - Melbourne Australia and have PM'd you kirstin.

We have already had legislation passed on it's ban and this State, the State of Victoria has apparently made even using the devices illegal (Only if it is used to inhale nicotine substances as far as I am aware - more research required), further investigations revealed that they are not enforcing the law as far as personal use is concerned yet but you most certainly cannot sell a vaping device/e-cig if it contains any nicotine at all, so juices/liquids that contain any amount of nicotine are at the moment illegal. The Drugs and Poisons Regulatory Group have Nicotine classified as a Schedule 7 Poison under the Drugs and Poisons Regulation Act. (Still looking into the Act for clarification on quantity based restrictions, etc..)

I can't remember if I've done this or not, but I'd like to be included as a CASAA contact person for the State of South Carolina and the Charleston SC area in particular. I was reminded of the need for volunteers because of the e-cig ban now pending in Savannah GA.

Savannah is about 90 minutes from me so I took the opportunity to write the mayor and city council even though I don't live in their state. I would however, be happy to represent CASAA in South Carolina. Please let me know what information you need.

Kristin......I posted my services on the CASSA website(Didn't realize I had been a member for some time..LOL). The only Michigan e-cig legislation I am aware of is a proposed indoor ban.
