I am doing this on MY accord, not because of SJ, and I would like to vent and clear some air:

Back in June 2008, I joined these boards. At the time, ECF was still very small, and I think there were roughly 5-6 mods. At the time, only 3 were active (SJ, dnakr, Rat) A few weeks in to joining this board, I asked SJ if I could become a mod, to help run things. He said, "Sure Steve, Lets give you a shot" And I had privledges in roughly 1/10th of the forum. General discussion, and a few other member areas.
As time went on, and I was able to prove myself as a good mod, and I was allowed to mod more of the forum. Continue moving forward, and during this time, I see a very favorite supplier by the name of MyEcig start to go under for personal reasons, and there were no real options for affordable ecigs, so I decided to go in to business and try and bring affordable ecigs to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford such a thing, thus PureSmoker was born.
I became a small time supplier and was still able to spend much of the time modding the forums. Merging threads, deleting spam, housekeeping, etc... As time grew on, and more and more suppliers came on board, each was to be given a special titles (at the time, it was simply "Supplier") Both SJ and dnakr were always very busy and didn't always have time to add suppliers to the list and switch their titles over, THUS, I was given special admin privledges to do such. Nothin more, nothing less.
ECF Continues to grow, and so do the issues (common sense) We start keeping an eye on certain posters, and we start the Black List. Rules for suppliers are set in place, that no Suppliers can post in the Noobie Section or Review Section. VERY fair, which really helped experienced members guide noobies in the direction they needed to go and what may best suit their needs.
Fast forward to about 2 months ago, and Sponsored Suppliers Subforums were started. Also during this time (actually right before) we started having very large bandwidth issues to the point that ECF was even shut down for several days at a time.
From the beginning, I have always been accused of having *vested interests* within ECF. There have even been rumors floating around that I somehow bought ECF or bought half of ECF thus making me part owner (heard from a couple suppliers several months ago) This is NOT the case. I have never put any $$$ towards ANYTHING minus the $40/month I pay for my own subforum. I was simply a guy SJ learned to trust and I helped out on the boards.
To prove such, I am having SJ/LU pull my privledges thus hopefully resolving this issue of people conspiring of how ECF is somehow corrupt in its business dealings.
All I have ever tried to do was keep ECF up and running smooth. I have been called everything in the book, accused of doing numerous bad things, and somehow having outside business dealings with SJ to get my way on everything .... I never once used my Mod privledges to my advantage. If I ever had a quarrel with someone it was left to the determination of SJ/dnakr/Lu, NOT me. Many times they disagreed with me, and that was that.
I have asked people on many occasions to prove I was somehow abusing my mod abilities, and never once did anyone have any piece of evidence.
With that said, I will be graciously bowwing out. Unfortunately, conspirators, etc... will continue to find other ways on how this board may be *corrupt* or *unfair* I feel sorry for SJ and crew because this board was honestly quite open and honest (atleast compared to some of the boards I have been involved with)
I wish SJ, Dnakr, Lu, and the crew the best of Luck.
With that said, I'd like to make my peace with Minicig.
MiniCig, I never knew of your thread until it was already deleted. I was accused of doing things I didn't do, and thus ended up being accused of somehow corrupting the boards.
SJ has NEVER allowed game threads, crap etc... and this is due to the many bandwidth issues from the past. The fact that you care so much about your Post Count and somehow feel cheated is quite sad and childish, when this place should be more about substance rather than A, B, C threads.
With that said, I have never had an beef with you, and never will. If you feel you have been wronged, you have every right to be ......, and bring light to the matter, HOWEVER, make sure you have the FACTS first, and don't come up with some random conspiracy theory.
Other than that ... I'm out ya'll. See you around, when I see you around. I do kind of feel relieved for not having to worry about how the board is being run now, since Lu seems to be picking up so much slack
