Someone mentioned "another" recipe? Are there any other master blenders out there? Or just my hero Jon hall?

I have been following this thread with great interest and have made a few batches with a few tweaks along the way.
Just let me say, if you're someone who is on the fence about trying DIY, this recipe alone would be worth it. If you're a CL fan and only ever buy the ingredients to make this, you'd be money ahead. If you're worried you can't make juice that stands up to what you're buying from vendors, do your research, and then start with this recipe.
That said..what do all of you experts think of TFA coconut candy? So far, I've found it imparts some sweetness and the kind of coconut I'm looking for in this juice. I tried plain Inawera coconut (I'm becoming quite a fan of them) then a mixture of the Inw and the coconut candy, and have so far settled on just straight coconut candy at the same percentage as the "final recipe"
Any thoughts? Am I messing up a good thing somehow? I honestly haven't tried FA coconut..did what most DIYers do and made do with what I had.
Actually, looking at the actual saved file of what I've made twice now as it's come out my best version, here is my recipe. The others may be a better match but this one has been my most favorite so far and the closest to my tastebuds:
TFA Kentucky Bourbon 3%
Cap Toasted Almond 2.5 %
TFA Coconut Candy 3%
Inawera Vanilly 1%
Cap French Vanilla V2 1%
TFA Vanilla Bourbon 1%
TFA Brown Sugar Extra 1%
And now seeing this, I tweaked it more than I realized. Hope I don't offend anyone, because I owe this amazing juice totally to the people in this thread who came up with the start of it. Just thought I'd throw my hat into the ring, so to speak![]()
That's what I thought of the coconut from Inawera as well. Pleasant but mild. The coconut candy for me is more like a bag of baker's coconut. Cap coconut gives me that crayon wax thing that a lot of other coconuts do, including some vendor ones. For some reason it tastes like crayons smell
I have a few FA flavors but am really just getting started exploring. Fresh cream and Vienna cream have both been used with great results. Getting ready to put in another order this weekend, will try a few more of them.
What percentage for that white peach Curly?OT but you need to try fa white peach! Amazing standalone.
What percentage for that white peach Curly?
Aight. Yah I Thot I read somewhere that this flavor was pretty super concentrated. Thanks.Start at 3 I think I went 3.5%. Seriously delicious.

I'm putting in a good sized order tonight..I'll add that to it. Thanks!
Aight. Just got all the ingredients and some for future DIY. Followed all directions and letting it steep now. I sure hope it comes close. Getting tired of running through a bottle every week.
The price is up there, that's for sure. But when you consider the fact that many of us would pay 5-10 dollars a day for a pack of cigs back in the day, it doesn't shock me. Yea, it's an expensive juice, but it's a damn good juice. Making your own is definitely cheaper, and fun to do. But I would gladly pay for a fantastic bottle of juice if I couldn't make it. Thanks to this thread, it looks like it's possible to come up with something close. FP is a great company, and they produce an excellent product. Is it worth 28 bucks a bottle? Depends on your perspective. If I could afford it, I would gladly Vape it all day, every day. I can't, though... So, here goes nothin'!!
Yea I understand. I went through 5 bottles in a month. Yes it's in my Taifun and .54. I know. But it's too damn good.
Just tasted the batch I made. It's getting pretty darn close. I also have Reserve from Steam Co. It's close but not close enough. I'm going to let it steep for a couple more days. Went with 70VG cuz I likes vapor. I just couldn't believe I actually pulled it off with complex flavored of DIY. Only thing I was doing before we're 1 or 2 flavor combos. Like max VG Vanilla Butternut and Peanut Butter with Bananna Cream. Yum.
Have you tried with tfa red oak? I have a few recipes that are more complex (over at that other forum, diy scene is more active there IMHO, lost a lot of good people here). But I'm loving FA fruits, normally single flavors.
