MB, don't know if this will help or not but here's mine mostly broken down. The tolerances are super tight. It's kind of a bear to remove the top cap. Some VG to lube up the o-rings may help if you can get it apart.
I don't. But should. I use an old mech for this sortof thing. Would be handy tho. LOL finally got it off. That was fun....I still can't hardly use my right hand from the thumb surgery, so anything that is slightly stubborn is a challenge [emoji6]

I have a hobo3 brand new with hobo BF pin that I actually made work right. It's yours for $90 if you want it. I won't be carrying many of the hobos.... The Stumpy is a better product in every way, but if you want to see for yourself....
I just confirmed with Harry (owner,operator, modder of element mods) that he still has my extra 25 waiting for me... If you would ever have a chance you should speak to him. Awesome guy. Calls me every week to check up.
The stumpy is the only atty that I have seen that I don't think you can destroy or actually effect negatively. Wanna dry burn? Give it hell.... Wanna drive over it with your car? It will live. Might scratch but it will survive.

As I mentioned the Cam mods take a back seat to the attys right now I'm stareing down the barrel of 40 nectars, 16 mantas and 10 Stumpys(with another 25 in the plans). I did have a few minutes Saturday morning to remove all of the cases from their packaging and disassemble all 60 of them to prepare for machining them. The CAM-M will come and it's ONLY available here. No Facebook, no email, here only. If you don't see it here it hasn't happened yet.
Lol.... All of these have been opened by me at least once, if you want some real fun I will send you a virgin. I made cap removal tools a few months ago for the Veritas clones after ripping the 510 out of a Reo. It's just a 1" rod of 7075 aluminum with a m7 x .5mm thread inside. I can vouch for that...after taking needle nose pliers and a rubber glove to it, with a good ol southern "hissy fit" thrown in. Not a scratch!

Well...I wouldn't put any big bets on it. LOL But, I'm trying. I have way too many and have even packed up some older stuff. I only kept out what will fit in my vape stand, a couple in the kitchen and 3 in my purse. [emoji6] But that Art mod looks awesome! Glad I couldn't find it on a google search. LOL

I mostly have 3 Tmods, several REOs and a cute little copper/brass steampunk one called Avion from Roscoe that I normally use. Was thinking about putting that Stumpy on my big yellow TMod [emoji4] Really like the looks of that atty. have a feeling that I am going to love it!
Edit-were you talking about temp control? I'm behind the times and haven't gone there yet. LOL
