The Cool cap replaces the current ss adapter in delrin or Teflon. I bought 3 of each color also if you want one of them I'll sell them for $10 while supplies last. It allows you to use ss tips without the heat issues.

How high do you have your coil positioned? I had spitting until I raised the coil even with the air holes.

I switched to a twisted 28ga. and still got some spitting, but not as bad. I'll try raising the coil and see what happens.

I picked up an Ivogo Velocity in a FB group buy just to get an idea if I would like an authentic when you receive and I have to say it's a very nice clone even came with a BF center pin. It's really easy to build , chucks the clouds and flavor is pretty good. Souns like i will be in for one[emoji41]

I was having the same issue with popping 28g twisted and raised the coil up as suggested and working perfectly now thanks for the tip.

Having run several different coils I found that spitting was most prevalent in setups where I ran a thicker KGD wick. Once I backed off a lil on wick thickness the spitting went away except when first starting off from a few hours of non use (I rotate mods sometimes ).

Here is the height I run all my builds at

ATM I have a 1 ohm non twisted 26 ga about 8 or 10 winds, a .8 ohm 3 twist 30 ga 8 winds IIRC, a .7 ohm 3 twist 29 ga 8 winds IIRC and a .65 ohm 2 twist 28 ga 6 wind. They all vape great - especially with the chuffs - but the 3 twist 30 and the 2 twist 28 are my favorites. The 28 build is a lil more spit prone after some down time.

The Marquis will be ordered as part of the Velocity run. When the velocity is ready I will order the Marquis as well. I need to let people pay a few of their bills; June was a big month for catfish.

Raising a coil to stop spitting has been a method I have used for a long time. SX is right though. If the coil height doesn't fix it, check to see if you have too much wick.
