Re. the whole serial number thing... obviously Tom would have noticed any defects or whatever in them, but still curious why the numbers are so random. As in w t f. What's the official answer from them (JD Tech)
Just a theory. But I'm thinking JD Tech had the V1 decks on hand, and made new V2 top caps for them.
Every run of mantas has been this way. I believe like most attys all the decks were made at 1 time and they were picked from. Nobody bothered to keep them in any specific order. Personally I don't know why they bothered to serialize them. But I am curious as to what percentage of all the mantas that have come across my table so to speak. I just like to see the trends, for instance:
185 Stumpys out of 500 made= 37%
350 Derringers out of 5000 made= 7%
Nectars out of the less than 1000 made I have done over 100= 10%+
This run makes 170 mantas but I have no idea how many were actually made.
And to think when I started this I thought there was no market for bottom fed 22mm attys over $45, look at us now! The numbers are staggering.

There still isn't a market for 22mm attys over $45. But there is a huge push, in society, to help out friends in need. I'm quite sure I'm not the only one around here who's dedicated themselves to keeping food on Big Tom's table. Hell, I don't even vape, bro.
The Marquis, for example, makes a wonderful mini salt shaker. You know, for travel....

With the USPS being what it is now I'm NOT surprised my Manta payment sent on the 7th is not there yet... maybe Monday.

I have to agree. I'm catching more fish than ever before with my new Manta sliding sinker set up.
Speaking of the Manta, I see there is still a few stragglers wandering in the door. It would be cool if everyone that signed up would follow through ( extenuating circumstances aside) on their commitment to Tom for purchase.

Just for the record: PayPal is available for those on Facebook but I don't set the price on FB (chad does) but I charge him almost the same (within $5) price that ecf pays. Add on his fee, PayPal fees and it's usually significantly more plus I have to ship to him then he has to re-pack everything and ship to you. I focus on ECF.
I really haven't figured out the connection yet, it seems that affects one person on every run. You are the lucky winner.....
