I will ask Harry. No guess work on this one.Yeah I can blow the top caps off both Stumpys I have. Any idea the o-ring size?

Hi Tom,
The insulator on my Stumpy is loose... anyway I can get it replaced?
As Tom stated, all of my Stumpy's (5) are tight. Could it be the liquid you are using attacking the rubber?

Which oring are you talking about? Bottom barrel, top barrel, or drip tip adapter?Distort, they been like this since I received them. The top caps seem like there is no o-ring at all, although there is. The top just falls off if I tip it sideways. The only way to get a hit off the atty is to press down on the cap or more air comes from around the top cap than the airflow control.

Perhaps its called the drip tip adapter, the portion the drip tip fits into. Double o-rings.
Sorry, I don't know all the lingo yet.
Oh yeah, those o rings. Mine was pretty loose too. I put 1 wrap of dental floss in the groove, under each one of the o rings. It snugged it up nicely.

Thanks Rule...I'll try that. I guess its not just my Stumpy's.
I need to read up on dripper lingo used to describe parts.
Whenever you have loose fitting parts with o rings, you can tighten up the fit by removing the o ring, making one or two turns of dental floss in the groove, and replacing the o ring. After replacing the o ring, trim off the ends with cuticle scissors or razor blade. I've done this many times, especially on drip tips that fit too loose.
