Catfish Atty Mods the next Chapter

Once I get a prototype I'm happy with I will. The current prototype will be sold or dismantled based on interest and how the new version works.

I vote for a run of 40 or so LBC's.

I will work on the v3 prototype today, my material is supposed to be here today. The more I use it I like the cam-m better. I am going to have a long talk with Harry today or tomorrow in regards to giving up on the 7068 and stepping back to 7075 for the whole thing and going with a bezel like the LBC (simple, elegant, not $60 each with buttons. Just omitting those 2 parts should drop the price about $80 each or $8k for the run. After the first 50 have shipped I will be able to do an upgrade kit to retrofit the original stainless radiused bezel and jazzy square buttons. I will also have Harry redesign the bottle section to use the 8.5ml bottles. Honestly the 8.5ml bottles are my favorite part of the LBC. The Cam-M feels like a precision built tool, the LBC feels more like a ham fisted attempt at a Sunbox E7. I,will make a few of them available if I can get them down to fighting size and weight but as it stands the LBC is just too big to be a mod I want to invest $20k+ into. By the end of this coming weekend I will have a much better idea of which direction(s) we are heading.

You guys wont be surprised by this but Chowder just went above and beyond for yours truly. I wont go into details but he just proved once again that he is the effin man who doesnt take his people for granted. I know we've discussed this before but where would we be without this man?

The LBC will look similar but narrower and shorter, but What becomes production and what remains one off will depend on how the shrunken down LBC prototype comes out.
