@Chowderhead1972 - What build do you have in the Petri and what wattage are you using? The one trick pony build?
I put a 3mm X 7 wrap fused Clapton 2x28 wrapped with 32 dual coils which would be great for a mech and still works great on the LBC. The Petri is a great platform for getting into crazy coils.

With the build above at 85w on the LBC I did set off the fire alarm on the second drag. The sheer volume and density of vape makes the Petri awesome.

Do you think it will perform well with more "normal" type builds or does it require Claptons or something of that nature?

I dont have the Petri personally, but from what I have seen the wire holes are rather large... There can be trouble capturing single wires in gauge above 24.... Works great for clapton, etc

That is easy enough to deal with. Just create a loop at the ends to double up on the wire trapped under the screws.

The LBC is in the final days of blueprinting; coming along nicely. Should be in line at the machine shop next week.

Normal as in 32g contact nano coils? I wouldn't suggest it. Normal as in 26g no problem. I would suggest 26 slightly spaced for regulated, or 24 spaced for mech.

Tom, are we ever going to see another Thump? I really like the four post design & top air. I've fallen in love with top air for various reasons, especially the (almost) leak proof aspect.
I'm a huge fan of the Thump too, liking it even better now than the beloved Manta that I was addicted to for 6 months.

I love the Vector, between CF modding them & Tmod's delrin adapter it is perfect for me. I'd take more if I could find the delrin caps, time for another collaboration between the two Tom's I say

I sent the distributor an email... I'll let you know.
How about an unofficial "X1" for Thumps?

Hey, Tom, do I have a Stumpy on the way, or did I miss out on that last run do to late payment? Think I was like #10 on the list, or something like that.
Yes you have a stumpy coming with your Narda. I should have news about your Aeronaut very soon as well. That was you correct? Going off memory right now.

I,should have an invoice for the NarDas any minute.
