God that Pancake looks crazy. What an innovative build deck...

I find myself second guessing abstinence...it's made of titanium. Most durable atty thus far??
I can't wait to try one of those crazy builds in it. Gonna have to pick up one of those coil brushes. Now if my GProv (aka the Pancake's new home) would come in...

Coil brush? I'm behind the times :w00t:

Tom said the Pancake is like 1.5-2 holes open Stumpywise for air on each side. That sounds like enough...sometimes I run Stumpys with 4 holes open total, sometimes wide open too but not always. And the Pancake can do single center coils, like I do in the Stumpy. :w00t: and anything else it seems...

Very tempted...

The guy (Bret I think?) that makes the Pancake also just released a little "brush" to wrap coils on. It's 14 posts (two parallel rows of seven posts).

Pancake build brush

That's what it looks like.

I'm in the same boat as you my friend!! I started squonking about 6 months ago & in that time have bought 5 mods & several atties. I have all but sold most of my other stuff(tanks & regular mods). Said I was gonna stop after this last Thump run but now there is the flapjack & the LBC on the horizon. If they divorce us maybe they will at least let us keep our vape stuff. Seeing as my wife thinks it is stupid & worthless...lol!!

LOL..I wish it was that easy pal..yesterday she made a move on one of my Reos and the RM2 because they "look cute together".:?:

Ohh so that's how that one coil was done..the one someone posted a pic of that looked like wire crisscrossing across the atty, never forming wraps really. Yeah. Interesting stuff!!

Yep. You just slide a nice, thick, fluffy piece of cotton (or whatever your chosen wick material is) underneath the "coil" and vape away.

That would certainly be interesting to try.....!

Tom, just sent PP for the SS Stumpy. If it's to late to mail today, no biggie. I got plenty of new toys to keep me busy already, and hopefully I'll be getting my Ti and SS wires today to finally try out temp control. [emoji2]

I've had my "brush" jig for over a week now and still haven't used it. The build I have in my Pancake is working so well that I don't want to take it out. I guess the easy answer would be to get a second Pancake.

I started squonking less than a month ago, and in no time I bought 4 mods and more atties than I can remember, besides I'm waiting for one more mod and 5 more atties to make it to Egypt. Not to mention a list that I've joined. My wife will definitely file for divorce on the grounds of insanity if I keep this up!

Umm...But hey..I might be able to do it if I win this contract I'm bidding on.

But you started vaping so you would spend less right..... Quite possibly the most famous of last words..... If it wasn't for CAM I wouldn't be able to afford half the demos I have. 5 stumpys, 3 NarDas, 2 snappys on the way, an m-atty, countless veritas, several Marquis, Kennedys, you name it. If I like it I have 2 of them, if I love it I have at least 3 of them. Just think; a year ago I had 3 Reo sl/lps and a pile of clones, look at me and more importantly us now. Other than a black pvd Dark Horse Im now clone free. Honestly I owe it all to you guys.

While we are on the topic of the Pancake: I have found the correct screws in Allen head and in titanium but they are a little over $4 per screw or $24 per mod with no spares. Any thoughts?

What I'm thinking is to order the same screws in stainless and install them and make the titanium screws optional. As always I will include the stock screws as well which would mean if you bought the upgrade your pancake would come with three sets of screws: stock Philips, Allen caps in SS, and a set of titanium screws. If there is wide spread support for the ti screw option I will call the supplier and beat him down as much as I can on the price, I'm betting I can get them down to $3 per screw if I buy 100+

I'm open to ideas and suggestions.
As it stands with the stock screws and the SS hex caps I will do them for retail including shipping and all fees ($120) or $144 with the Titanium screws, also shipped.

Chowder..seriously..when it comes to health ..and after struggling for more than a decade with severe health issues that were caused by smoking, I don't count the cost..a huge part of the fun we have as vapers has to do with constantly trying new things..new atties, mods, coil builds, wires, eliquids, flavors, DIY, wicking material..you name it. For us it turned into a hobby, and the good news is some of us like you and many others managed to make a business out of it and they keep innovating and in turn keep us entertained..and most importantly away from smoking. Yes of course..every now and then we ..... and moan about our finances and how expensive this turned out to be...but we're happy with our authentics and our clones..and if you ask any of us if s/he would trade this for going back to smoking..well..I guess we all know the answer :)

Not if you don't keep them all in one place ;)

The nice part is that once the herd reaches a certain size, it's fairly easy to slip another one (or more) into it without any eyebrows being raised. The real key (for me anyway), is having a cash stash (which is direly in need of replenishment at this point) [emoji6]
