So what do you guys think? LBC or Cam-R 2.1 carbon?

LBC....Perhaps I'm not looking close enough, but I see nothing "run of the mill" about that corner....Looks great, man! They both do. Nope, nothing "run of the mill" about either one of them.

In use I actually prefer the 2.1. The 2.1 is far more ergonomically correct. It can be fired and squonked with no grip change. The 2.1 has the bottle and atty far away from the board for those of you that over squonk. The 2.1 is also significantly lighter even with a full size 10-12ml bottle. I agree the LBC is a more classic looking mod but all said and done I love both of them.

No comments on the M-Atty? I got this one free from Chad for no other reason than he is just a really cool guy and puts up with my psychosis with a smile. I was dumbfounded... I felt guilty so I made him a cam-r very similar to this one.

Good for Chad! I'd do the same thing with an M-Atty. The sales strategy and attitude associated with that thing have shrunk my desire to own one to a solid ZERO.

i just hate sunboxes so much that the R has my vote.i dig the low squonkhole/the ergonomics of it.the fact you can squonk/fire and vape is really cool.but dang...the more i look at the lbc it has alot of inique lil design features in it also...damgamit i said i wasnt gonna buy anymore mods...siht!!

the squonkhole does look like it may get a digit stuck it it on the lbc mod.do like the carbon on both though!may have to sell a few things to fund a mod...lol.R 2.1 is stil the 1 i like most though chowder.looks like you hit it outta the park, taking the time needed has paid off for sure!thanks for the pics man!

The 2.1 is my choice. Though I've never even held a Sunbox, I don't really care for 'cut off' corner look. I'm sure it's to make the mod smaller, but to me it throws off symmetry. I'm weird like that. The fact that the 2.1 has the electronics as far away from the juice bottle as possible is a HUGE plus, IMO. Everything about the mod makes sense. Well designed, completely original and an overall attractive piece. Well done Tom! Im hoping I'll be able to afford one one day.

@rudedog - The M-atty is by MEB Mods.... Questionable techniques must be used to obtain one... 'Nuff said :pop: (Unless you are gifted one)

The Narda is by NAR Mods....

For those who have never held a Sunbox I think you really should, the ergo's on them are very nice, about perfect for my hands so I'm voting for the LBC. One thing I noticed in the pics of the LBC is the radius on all the edges? Very nicely done & much appreciated, I hope they are even smoother on the production runs.

Hmmmm... I like the ergonomics of the 2.1 Just feel it will be more comfortable to hold and squonk. I do really like the soft Italian bottles in the LBC!! I've been using them for a bit and I'm extremely impressed. So much so I would gladly give up the 2-3ml of capacity. Definitely like the carbon fiber in both!!

No, the Narda is by Nareg Tatian, the M-Atty is made through Matt Brown, the M-Atty came from Chad, my guy that handles FaceBook and all things Pay-Pal...

The Radii you see will definitely be on both mods. On the production models the rounding will be much more consistent, getting that perfect by hand is very hard, for the cnc it's simple; just another line of code.

I'm going to stick to my plan of doing the LBC on the first run and depending on support I can go straight into production with the 2.1 or do another batch once the first batch is all built.

Count me in for at least TWO, just to begin with.....:)

Nice work Tom...I bet you sell the hell out those babies...!!

Sounds like a plan has been established! I assume you will be going by the current LBC list for the first run of these. Correct? ;)

So what do you guys think? LBC or Cam-R 2.1 carbon?

I like the aesthetics of the LBC better and it looks like a nicer fit and finish than the Cam-R 2.1 carbon, but of course this is prototyping rather than looking at the finished products.

Questions: Are the batteries the same in both mods? I see the Cam-R has a 10ml bottle with the squonk hole on the curved side (which I like), but I can't see how you get the bottle out? If it has something to do with the screw in the bottom of the Cam-R I'd count that as a negative. (also the screw looks out of place just hanging out down there at the bottom) Last question, why is their a strip of metal taken out of the middle of the Cam-R? Just to make it lighter? It DOES make it look distinctive, but I'm not sure if I like it. Maybe if the rest of the mod was anodized and the strip left bare metal.... just a idea.

Either way, they both look really good and i'll be getting one or the other. Awesome job CH.
