Had a problem with my Manta. Emailed Tom with the symptoms. Within three hours I received the correct diagnostic and the correct fix. Problem solved. That's the value of buying something from people who knows what they are doing.
Glad to hear it worked.

No shyyyyyt huh....the haze is lifting..... I remember they had a mother and son business there cooking fresh Mexican food for everyone ..... and the lil guy was asking me about.... Uh huh....... "Oh I've seen THAT before someone was asking $220 for it." To wit, I replied ... Oh no heres the site. I'll save ya $50...... Now I'm thinking he got a really good deal...... Although I really don't think he'd jeopardize the gig..... My cousins been using them for YEARS.... And its soo far away..... it's on like I'm gonna go out there to look for it............but hopefully he will. I think I left it on an outside air condition unit?? Caulking it up moving on.......

TMOD... TMOD.... Say it with me now... TMOD.

That's all....

ETA: I bet Tom could come up with a transponder system like LoJack for just such an occasion. I bet Kiwi would buy one.... As I recall he had a similar issue involving a Reo and a Taxi cab.

I may have a spare one with a slam cap and grubs...
That reminds me... Now that I am only selling authentics there should be no more ECF drama when listing any of it on the classifieds. I used to be able to browse the classifieds and pm to buy for my personal stuff but with the forum overhaul I can't even see the classifieds. I had no interest in selling in the classifieds but it was nice to be able to find some of the out of production attys to bottom feed just to test concepts and theories.

Here's the dilemma brother Tom chowder...... I'm currently waiting for 3 mods to be made..... I wanted to move I to a regulated so.... Your camR is what I really can't wait for! And there are a couple others that I will not mention here..... But their procrastinating is making me want a TMOD mech!

So, what say you on the camR....i know your still looking to put out the mech but do you have an idea of how long we'll have to wait.... Gnawing at our fingernails.!!

I just started over on on the Cam-R. My original version came out to 75mm (3") wide and 91mm (3-3/4")tall with a 26650 battery which IMO is just too big to be worth the aggravation. I started re-designing last night with a lipo cell and possibly a DNA200. Suffice to say it's still early in the redesign. The problem with the current chips/boards is the fact that 4.2v just isn't going to push these big boards to optimum performance. As it stands I believe the TMOD sx350j will be about as good as you can get with single cell IMR batteries. As to my design I see no reason to use a big chip unless you can use it to its full potential.

Part of the reason I'm leaning towards the dna200 is a size issue, the DNA is half the the thickness of the sx-j board. The DNA200 however requires a higher voltage input than the SX-J or most if not all other boards.

So to answer your actual question if you need it fast and regulated I'm not your guy. I haven't milled the first body so it's going to be a while.

I'll under utilize one of your camR's! No problem With that I won't max out a Dna40 anyway..... I was always at about 23 watts with my builds!?

Then why not just get a Sunbox? The Sunbox is an amazing device it just falls short above 40 watts. For day to day use I use almost nothing but sunboxes. The Cam-m is great for when I'm at home and want to blast 100 watts or so.

Now rotate the cap where the air is hitting the post instead of the wick. Know it sounds crazy but give it a try;)
I tried it... I like it twisted 15 degrees away from hitting the post. Make perfect sense actually, it his the face of the coil instead of the wick. Superx's way is more efficient but the taste is better twisted. I has a lot to do with how much you want To cool the coil with air vs juice. Indirect (superx) will be more efficient but you way allows you to alter surface temp better. If you like a warmer vape try it his way, cooler and slightly smother; your way.

I'll just pull up a lazy boy refresh the site and chill...... Waiting on 911 brother

OPPS 411 lol
Send me an email...

What did you find? The Sunbox can be an elusive creature. It took me over a month to get my first one, then it started raining E7s. I became very picky.
