Do you like duals or singles in the manta? I love singles and don't really have any ambition to try duals. If you like singles what is the best build so far, coil placement and ohms? Thanks dude!

My favorite build by far has been the fused Clapton coil. 0.5 ohms and very close to the posts.

How is the vape Pete?

It's good and not as hard as I thought. At 15-17 watts (that's my usual Kanthal setting), the vapor was airy and weak. I had to crank up the power to 20 watts with my nickel build to get a comparable vape. Using tempered Ni200 and a simple two-post atty made things easier. I think it'll always be a struggle to work with the longer Ni200 coils -12 or more wraps! So I may not stay with nickel too long before moving to titanium. But first, a few more flying hours with nickel.

I love my throat hit. What would be a good single coil build for it?

I like things simple. I like to build in a few minutes and be all good. My biggest progression since building is going from 28 to 24, lol. Would the derringer, manta or nectar micro work well in these applications? Simple coil builds with throat hit. Ohms would't even matter as long as TH would be accomplished on each atty. This isn't really a hobby to me but more-so as a cessation to smoking and so far has been working. Haven't bought a pack since March.

Haven't tried the Nectar (yet) but either the Manta or Derringer would do nice for you. Personally I find the Manta hits a little harder off a simple build than a Derringer.

Hopped off several days ago but figured the list was useless since they're already in stock; my bad. I got on the Nectar list instead. I feel bad but I realized it is a true insanity for me to keep buying 4 of every atty. It's hurting my wallet and not helping my cause. At most I vape 3 mods in a day and usually just two. I have an addiction and it's landing me wanting to sell off old attys, for instance I have no use for 4 Vectors but I have 4. I'd like 2 at most. I'm just nuts.

Plus I'm back tracking to tighter airflow and single coil. So I'm stoked to try the Nectar. Sloth is becoming more of a flavor chaser. (those Mantas will sell no worries - easily the best atty I've tried thus far it's just that 2 is enough)

Not for dual coil lung hitting attys i agree. 2 is still enough for me though

On a related note, the correct o rings for the Manta are 1mm x 19mm ID.

Did you say a green SunBox e7, rudedog? I just got this last week in the classies and loving it! My only regulated squonker. I'd like to try a twisted 28g in it but the nickel coil in it now is so stable at 0.12 ohms, that I hate to take it out. Luckily, I've got a couple more Stumpys coming on Monday.
