Also shout out to super x: you're right about having to kick up the resistance on this fella. Even my good ole boring build that I use for every single atty is a lil too much for me on the thump.

The afc. Not sure if you're aware, but the afc is just this ring that sits inside the top cap. The resistance you feel when rotating that afc disc is from a little oring inside.

Oh and no sure if anyone realizes it, but if you have a drip tip that sits real snug, rotating the drip tip adjusts the airflow

You guys have to excuse my lack of experience on how to properly use the forum, this .... is confusing. I hope I'm good now.

Very well aware... I took one apart to see if I could make the afc work more freely. It has a split ring made of stainless spring steel similar to a key ring but it pushes out to grip the barrel of the top cap. If you push down on the top cap waaayyy to hard is will cause that ring to slip down and make the afc very loose. To correct make sure the split ring is in place and push the ring into the top cap with something similar in size to the ring, you need to push on the ring not the afc. I will take mine apart and take pics to illustrate. I believe you are overthinking it. Be right back.
