Notice the bowed out bezel. I'm going to try to do it in stainless with big square buttons.
Colors used for CAD purposes only. The first run will be anodized in a medium to dark gray gunmetal color. Bezel to be raw ss. Buttons not sure yet, thoughts?

Tom that looks insane bro. Perhaps some bright polished aluminum buttons? Those renderings totally confirm that thst mod goes to 11. Gawd Dayum is that gonna be a fun one to film. Now I need to edumacate myself on the dna 200 boards capabilities and features so I can pretend I know what I'm talking about.

I was actually planning on SS buttons with a ss bead blasted plate and polished buttons. Visually it would draw your eye to the buttons from the matte anno to the bead blasted bezel towards the lit up screen then to the chrome like polished ss buttons. Make sense? I could also do buttons in gray acetal (delrin) a very similar color to the anno. Sick right? But that wouldn't do much to trick the eye... The mod will feel great in the hand but visually it's a little big, the eye trick helps with that perception as does the body line on the back. Pretty smart huh?

The stainless is only the bezel and the buttons, the body itself will be 7075 aluminum or 7068 if the machine shop is as connected as I'm told it is... I have my doubts on making 7068 a reality though. I'm not buying 700lbs just so I can use 80lbs. The price quote for the 7068 alone is $4500. To me that borders on real money. If I new I could sell 750-1000 of these I would do it but as bottom feeders we are a very specialized market and no matter how awesome a product maybe that would be insanely aggressive. It's still on the table though.

And the actual weight of the body once it's been milled is less than 2oz

I really like that polished buttons idea. Square buttons would really flow well, keeping with the theme. All your design choices are leading to a very nice visual appeal.

Looks cracking mate, I see the buttons etc have already been discussed and your reply im right behind the polished buttons idea.

Only thing I'd mention is logo wise rather than having text up the side of the body which may just be there for drawing purposes at the moment how about an engraving of your logo at the bottom of the front plate, no colour just engraved in. I would say this would give it a classy look.

Other than that all looks good to me, love the square buttons, brushed front plate with eyes being drawn to buttons. All sounds great, nice job [emoji106]
