No it was bought at Kmart.

you can still do a stop payment on it as long as you have the m/o receipt.itll cost 10$ er so.but on the other hand I paid my CC payment with m/o for years til the usps took 13 days to deliver it to the CC company.cost me 35$ late fee.i was about to stop payment but didn't wanna add 15$ more to my costs already.lil advice is to bite the bullet and get on GW and be done with it.thier isn't any info any of us have that the govt can get or anyone else for that matter....just a matter of how bad they want it is all.eff 'em they can have all my info.just know when they come through my door their will be a surprise waiting there...nuff said....er maybe too much..hah ha!if you use google they already have all your info anyways....they walk hand in hand with our govt.google just hands it over w/o govt even asking anymore.hope it makes it to Tom.i think it will its just gotten lost in transit im almost sure.they do it all the time with our mail.goodluck Steve

That reminds me I'm slated for a pair of PDib mods. I'm thinking I might let someone else take it over. Not that I doubt is of the highest quality, I'm just not into wood in the slightest.

If anyone wants my spots let me know. OGs take preference. I don't even know how to check the list.

I'm in the same boat. My number is coming up in about 3 or 4 months, but I'm not so sure about it anymore. I'm already selling off my wooden mods because I love my metal mods so much more. They're beautiful, but I'm afraid of wood mods, especially with the humidity I have down here in Texas.

Wow just a few months ago I would have been jumping up and down for the spot but I have one from someone else that I'm getting and I have like five wood mods and I really thinking about selling them. The one I'm getting will be a forever keeper the guy does awesome work.
The only think I will jump on right now are a Sun Box E 8 and E 8 nano in dark blue and of course the CAM-R. This is all your fault. TOM the Enabler just like a drug dealer. :)

Finally got mah mail today - and thar's a Manta in it!
May stay up late and build it yet...not sure - but first impressions:

  • Thanks for cool sticker, man
  • I like the look!! Didn't think I would! I always noticed the knurling around the very top ring and thought it was ugly - but in real life, it's friggin invisible. Well, not quite, but it's really subtle.
  • Also regarding aesthetics: didn't realize, or forgot that the base is polished while the cap is brushed. Looks good. And my copper came pre-patina'd - I may actually throw it on the Woodvil below...
  • phillips heads? Whaaaat?
  • My caps not tight, per some reports. It's actually super-smooth. Hope it stays just like that.
  • Big-... squonk hole / tiny little chamber. Can't wait to fire this up!! (just a little tough to get motivated, cuz that Rogue is running mighty tasty)

I think Corey made the right move at the right time. I hope PDib doesn't regret giving him his blessing so to speak. I'm sure much like Rob PDib has plenty of die hards and new customers to keep him doing well.

When I was modding this run of Mantas the quality seemed to be a little better than one of the previous runs although the packaging came in at an all time low. Not a single one came with the cordura zipper pouch I was a little upset until I noticed the quality of this run. All things considered I would much prefer a great product in a crap package than the other way around. I just wish they made a brushed version with a smooth top hat.

I'm a wood person, hobby crafted fine woods for over 50 years. So wood mod aesthetics trumps metal mods with me. But I gave my numbers back to Peter for two made from exhibition woods I was going to supply from my large stash of it AND for the new smaller version I was slated to beta test also from my woods all at the same time (for various reasons that will remain my own). Also passed on a special PDib that was going to be resold, a real nice Gepetto DNA20 BF and a Caduceus SE BF offered to me about the same time. I have lots of Woodvil's that get it done for me just fine running Nuppin' and Chalice atty's, so decided to just stay with them to appease my wood mod needs. And they do not get babied because they are wood.
