After the second recommendation I've seem for the Marquis on the CAM M, I'm gonna have to give it a shot when I get back to the city...
Did Avid drop the price on the velocity and marquis? We're they always $110?
Also got the Steam crave squonk mod and so far it's a piece of turd. 10 min idle and it powers off. It powers on into locked mode and it's 5 clicks to into unlocked mode. There's too much play in the squonk chamber so when the bottle is squeezed the bottle just fattens up in the chamber instead of pushing juice up. Had to replace the tubing with a thicker tube since the bottle just slid on it and pushed air out the bottle cap. Going to try and add some foam into the squonk chamber to see if I can tighten it up without popping the door off when I squeeze it.

Lulz... I had to buy the cam-m just for the Marquis. Built it a couple times and a single 18650 just didn't cut it. Now today my cam-m should be in my mailbox but I don't have a matched pair of batteries to put in it. must...resist.
It's a parallel box. The batteries don't need to be married like in a series box. Same make and model is recommended but they don't need to be paired.

Fwiw, I don't worry over dedicated matched batts for my triple 18650 parallel squonker.
I just use the same type, if enough VTC4's are charged at the same time, then in they go, or if it's three 25r's that will go.
I haven't needed to dedicate batteries to this one mod.
I've run it this way since June and every time I change them out voltage is identical. Hasn't mattered if they end up with different numbers of cycles.

Good to know re: unmatched batts. I guess it makes sense since it's a parallel circuit. Thanks!
