FWIW...I replace my Manta screws with M3 grubs (like in the Stumpy). Mine all work perfectly.

Changed the stock screws out for grub screws (m3) on the cf manta2.. the airflow (draw) seems to be alot less turbulent with the grubs..
the v1 deck-- its nice to have a bit of reservoir for joose. given the "leak free" design; less squonking frequency.

Saw that, and I'm wondering, don't the topcap magnets self-center, making it an AFC with one setting? Then again, it looks like I'd want it wide open all the time anyway.
The manufacturer should call Corey for an education on how to install neo magnets. For full strength they need to just barely touch.

Hmm... Interesting about the Manta screws. I'm out of town right now, for a few days, and I didn't bring the new V1/V2 with me. I'll be anxious to check mine out when I get home. I have a couple Mantas with me, but not the newest one.
I didn't buy the defective Manta's from JD Tech so doubt my contacting them would carry as much weight with them. Following normal business practice instead I contacted the vendor I bought them from to make this right now.

. Well I guess the money order needs canceled because I think it would have arrived by now. Yikes it sounds like these new mantas have some issues. Maybe JD tech will replace all of them??
