If there is enough support for another run I guess I will do one. If we hit 30 commits I'll do another run. I can't commit on exact price yet because I think I will make the with FDV 510S and that means a lot more work but much less maintenance.

Noalox is an anti oxidant and anti seize compound for aluminum, the zinc helps to slow down aluminum oxide from forming. Its meant for pressure type connections and service entrance boxes.The miniscule current flowing through the mods its placed on do not affectively make use of the added current paths provided by the compound. It does however help to lube threads and such in keeping them free from oxidation. On the other hand, conductive grease will indeed stabilize the current flow through the contacts and protect them as well. As Tom mentioned above, use it sparingly with just a small amount on the contacts themselves. I have Noalox too, but I use it for different situations and in fact, I always have to have a wee chuckle when I read of vapers smearing it all over the place.

Edit: Deoxit is an excellent conductant as well, however in cases where the contacts are constantly hitting each other back and forth, it fairly quickly wears away and needs to be re-applied more frequently.

Reading this & being an automotive guy it has me wondering if using copper or silver anti-seize is the same thing? It's readily available at any auto parts store & cheap. We used to use it on brakes, much like noalox a little dab will do ya.

I don't think that is conductive enough. But someone else can probably answer with certainty.

Other than the treasure trove sent in yesterday by Houndb all send ins are done and on there way back to their respective owners. I had one from a guy on Facebook since September 11th. I have really been putting them off. NarDas are supposed to be here tomorrow and the Italian bottles will be here Friday. I will be redesigning the LBC this weekend with the smaller bottle and getting it as small as I can, shooting for less than 2-1/2"
