Sometimes these things happen....it's just one of the drawbacks of the small batch market. I'd rather he cut your order and maintain quality then send you 40 sub par attys. I know you hate to be the bearer of bad news, Tom, but we're all grown ups. Whatever you have to do to keep the masses happy is fine with me. I've got a ton of attys and the Snapdragon is checking all the boxes for me right now. Nareg will turn it around at some point.....no pressure here, brother.
This is in no way Tom's fault & I doubt anyone here thinks that it is. It's just the frustration for those who were on the list that a Mfr can't figure out a way to meet production needs. The hard part is the design & after that it's just a matter of machining the parts to meet the needs. There seems to be a trend in this industry of not being able to meet demand, whether it's actual or just to inflate the demand but either way I can't imagine machining a chunk of metal once the most difficult aspect of the design is accomplished is so difficult. Either way I wasn't on the list so it doesn't affect me, I do feel bad for those who were on the list but I've made a recent decision not to play the game. If they don't want my money I'll find someone who does.
My thoughts exactly, fish. I refuse to jump through hoops, pay inflated prices or kiss someone's a.. to get something. If companies are in the business, they need to step up and meet demand. I am also not on this list as it doesn't fit my vaping profile, but if they made it that hard to get, I'd find another, more readily available one to meet my needs.
I'm on spot 27 for the NarDA but I don't want anyone to in any way feel obligated to give up their spot. There's pros and cons being early and pros and cons with taking the time to enter a list, that's the nature of the game. I am sure there soon will be another atty to rave about and it is not like the ones I have suddenly stopped functioning.

I don't see Nareg stopping production on the NarDA anytime soon.

To use an example from a different industry.... I live in NH, Heady Topper is made in VT, if you haven't had the pleasure it is literally the best IPA you will ever have. I work in VT frequently & used to spend hours on release day traveling to the limited stores they'd release it too. I would stock up for home & for friends. Since they only allow you two four packs per purchase or only sell cases to select outlet's I would have to visit numerous store's to end up with maybe four four pack's. I finally decided it wasn't worth it, not for me. It's a great beer & in my travels if I see some I will grab it but if they can't meet demand for various reason's I've chosen to no longer participate.
Beer like vaping isn't something I need in my life to keep living, yes I enjoy both very much but if a mfr can't supply the demand I will find a substitute & move on with my life. BTW, I've found other high end craft beers that come close to Heady, are easier to find & give me just as much enjoyment plus I somehow always end up with at least a few Heady's in the beer fridge regardless.

I never got to try Heady Topper but always wanted to as a major hophead. I found the hype for a lot of craft beers unjustified and was just as happy to enjoy an easily obtained Sierra Nevada Torpedo.
