View attachment 524589 Btw: my battle with Sunbox continues. This week makes 6 months. I'm done. Going on the offensive here.

That just plain sucks CH. Sorry you are having to deal with that. You don't deserve it at all. I know how you go above and beyond for your customers. It's a shame that not all are that way. [emoji53] Hope you can get it resolved

That Muji looks very similar to the Shiseido pads I've been using for over a year now.

A big plus is you can pick the shiseido stuff up at Dillard's and JC Penny.

So I take the "bonehead" award for Saturday. I got my Narda and Stumpy this week and couldn't seem to get a bad taste out of the Narda. After an over night bath in vodka, I then proceeded to clean it with a tooth brush (a drop of dish soap) and then a 15 minute stint in the ultrasonic.

This is where the "bonehead" began. The screws for the Narda were left in the glass of vodka and then dumped down the drain. To make it better the dishes were done after meaning the screws are gone.

Does anyone know what the correct screw size is for the Narda?

They should still be in the trap. At least worth a look.

Hey Tom what happened there? Why didn't they send you one?
Volpi and Andrea wanted the latest and greatest as many of you do they had heard great things about Catfish and reached out to me. At this point I had a few sunboxes already so I knew they made a great product and still do. Upon their request I sent 4 of the hottest attys that I had; a Remm, a Stumpy, a nectar micro, and the ever elusive Le Magister, all bottom fed. It was agreed that Volpi would send me a Black Delrin E8 as soon as they were available as payment for the $500+ in attys and shipping. At the time the white Delrin e8 had just been release so I assumed the Black would be right behind it. (Seems logical to me) fast forward 6 months to the day and not only has the Nano and the moonraker been released, now the ultralight (the version I ordered but in a tiny 25w mod) nano is about to be released and still no word. I have sent him (Volpi) messages every 2 weeks or so since September asking about the status. More than half of those messages went unanswered. December first I became sick of the whole situation (if you remember that was the first time I mentioned here) and warned him my patience is wearing thin and if I didn't have something soon I would have to take drastic measures. Today was step one of those measures. He doesn't want to see step 2..... I don't delete messages or emails. Hint hint...
As of this morning he replys that it wouldn't be fair to the others if I got mine first; or it would show preferential treatment. Did that make you laugh as hard as it did me? I could go on but I think you get the gist.....send me an email and we can get into the bloody details.

That doesn't sound good Re: Sunbox.

My NarDA has made it across the pond Tom, thanks very much! I might need to lower my 18mg juice with this :D

For cotton. I have been using cotton bacon for a long time now. Before we had all these choices we have now I used to use 100 percent cotton balls from Walmart not boiled or any of that no taste. I some times use vapors choice, and native wicks. For smaller coils. It is thinner so works better. Smaller as in 2.5 of or smaller size. Cotton bacon for 3.0 and bigger coils I usually run 3.0 3.5 of siz coils. Ray to me taste weird and does not seem to wick juice that great. All products mentioned I buy from kidney puncher
I need to try cotton bacon and Dragon wicks. I should really try them all before pontificating on unknown subjects.
(I have waited all week to use that word...)

Lol that did make me laugh. Man I can't believe some people are like that. What I don't get is how can they go on without having a freaking conscious that bugs them every now and then.

I guess aholeness is an acquired skill!

The way I can describe cotton bacon to u catfish. It is the closest thing to regular cotton balls we all used so long ago. It absorb better then anything I use or have tried and very organic cottons they now make for vaping I have tried. Say compared to the other cottons I mention u get 12 to 13 pulls of the same squonk compared to 4 of the others or any other thing I own or have tried. More vapor prudction thicker and more tase. Only down fall I have with it is more frequently changing wicks. For me I vape 100 percent vg 6ml nice every other day change wick on my all day device so not to bad for the performance of it. It is thick not a thin strip so if u make big coils just split it in half then cut to size. Is my go to I have tried most things on the market and would use normal conton balls over them

I've tried almost every wicking there is. Cotton, mesh, SS rope, rayon, RXW and echowool. The ones I keep in my rotation are. KGD, Cotton Bacon V1 and 2.0, Shiseido and Native Wicks ( although only for low ohm drippers) The ones I use most are the KGD and CB. I also use mesh and a cotton/ mesh combo at times. I do not know what anyone ever saw in echo wool as I found it to be total crap. ( does anyone still use it?) The RXW although pretty popular was a fail for me as well. It's great that you can just dry burn it and go, but I found the break in to be a pain and the flavor not to be all that great. Couple that with the fact that it becomes brittle over time and can disintegrate in the atty told me to toss it out the window. The rayon was good for a while in that there was no nasty burnt cotton taste if you happen to run a bit dry but the flavor was kind of funky until it was broke in and it's PITA to get it rolled as it is pretty slippery in between the fingers.

Cam_m quistions. I picked one up on the classes last week for a freind of mine to get into bf. from beez0527 thanks again. Got it in last night just opened it up this morning. I'm a little confused on its set up to be honest is the bottom plate just held on by tightening down the negatives screws for the batterie. Wanta ask before I start screwing things into my batteries. I'm sure it is pretty cut and dry? Thanks guys and gals

if ya take the 4 nylon screws(lookin into the battery hole) out the whole thing will come apart.then clean with some alcohol and put it back together.you dont have to crank on the nylon(or whatever they are)screws just lightly tighten them.i was worried about messin the flathead part of the screws so just be easy on them.its a kickash lil mod for a c-note and cant be beat for the money.once you learn the loading of the juice bottle and tubing its easy peasy japanesE...er something like that.im sure someone can explain it better but thats my take on the CAM-M.-Rick...opps yes just tighten the allen heads down a lil not cranking like a lugnut...lol.and the plate will be good to go.

Yes, just tighten down on the screws until snug. Over tightening will result in indentations on the batteries. I've dedicated 4 sets of VTC 5's to power the pair that I have.
