Got my Petri v2 today....

Good:
Airflow is perfect
Flavor is great
Build deck is simple
Sexy looking

Bad:
Top cap (sleeve) doesn't fit snug, it is very loose. Thicker o-rings could fix it but the sleeve is >1mm too big
Slight whistle..... Arg but could be build dependent
Glass tube in presentation box was in 1000 pieces and scuffed the finish. Thank you USPS!!

Guess this is what we get when manufacturing is outsourced to China.

Hey Catfish, are there any other small atty's like the Origen 16 out there that aren't BF?
I wish... Find one and I'm on it. There is the atomic and the Reactor but I have already done them to death. That said I could do another run of reactors but it would require a lot of people on the committed list. As I recall I can have them start up the mills again but I have to buy 200 of them, I still have the prototype for the reactor afc that Vaperfexxion made for me right before he sold the company. Perhaps it's time.....

16mm, three post, afc, better looking than the O16 IMO. Same price or less than the O16. Without afc it would be much less than the O16 and much less fiddly.

Just got one of your cam-ms. Great little mod. But is there any way to make the button taller?
The button is very finicky and needs to be pushed towards a side and not directly down.
A new button would have to be made to make it taller but anyone with a lathe could do it in seconds.
In regards to the firing issue when doing your weekly cleaning and re-bushing be sure to get the entire button clean and shiny as well as the bore it sits inside of; that alone should improve conductivity immensely. If you really want to make it great have the brass plate and the copper button silver plated, even if you just did the button it would make a huge difference. The added thickness would actually help with the pushing the button laterally as well, the stock button in slightly undersized IMO.

I will mention both issues to DotMod. I bet they offer something to fix it.

Train...where did you buy that "thing"...:)
I'll dig up the link that Train2 sent me but as I recall for what you actually get its a bit expensive. IMO it should be $10-$15 considering the quantity of plastic vs actual steel. On the upside there is zero brass anywhere on the atty so I suppose there is that.

Eta: link sent, feel free to post it; I get in trouble if I post it.

Know anybody who has one and would want to do it? Lol
There is no machine shops here unless I'd travel 45+ minutes.

It does fill a niche, Tom - 'specially if you can get them to provide both the cap I got, and a cap with a 510 tip option - that, I think is my real airflow trouble - it's a little more chuff than I'm used to...
:D

Tom, would you consider doing a run of these?

Vinyl by Super Jaymze

Maybe the "Distro" people can do that?
Can't tell if they're a maker or an importer...

Wait... what??? Reactor with AFC?
I had a reactor and LOVED it, but stopped buying anything without AFC. I know you probably won't get enough interest in this one, but I'd be down for sure. FWIW, I'd still be way more excited for a Catfish Atty.
