I'll jump onboard for an M-Atty...still thinking on the Mikro and AX1. I can't figure how the squonking would work on the AX1 though. Seems like the airholes would flood.

I will post pics later. I will be milling juice chanels into the bottom of the positive post so the juice pools at the ends of the post, right where the ends of your wicks would be. This is about 4mm lower than where the air comes through the deck. Even if juice gets into,the air ports in the deck it still won't leak, it would just gurgle until the juice cleared out like the manta does if over squonked.
Any chance of doing more Veritas Clones? Or taking send ins of them? I understand if not as they look to be a royal pain to convert.
I actually have a few left that would just need to be assembled. Dear god please no veritas send ins..... Have you tried the Narda? Very similar draw and leak resistance.
I bought a Veritas in the classies...the NarDa is a much better atty.

I think I'm with inswava, passing on the clones, after looking at the 16.00 price, they just have to be a piece of ****. Hopefully I'm wrong.....
I haven't tried the Narda. It's been out of my price range lately since I've had some medical expenses. I like my Stumpys, but I keep going back to the Veritas, even though they are not as easy to build on.
I'll try a Nipple & an M-atty. my wife is cracking down. We're trying to have a baby so I have been stocking up lately before that happens. Unfortunately too much stuff came in at the same time. Go figure, USPS was on time for once with everything... Lol

I have had no luck finding original ones for a decent price so I'm down with both and already on the list for the other. I trust Tom to make them run like a champ or he won't sell them. Tell me when the document is up.
Ok. Sounds good. I didn't figure he would sell any junk. In a way I hate to get a clone but I said a long time ago if Matty was cloned I was in. Mainly because I have tried several times to get one & no dice. Well at RRP. No way I'm paying more than that. I didn't know they weren't going to make anymore. That was my only hope that he would keep making more & more.
I know I have spent hours looking and trying to get all of them with no luck. So in my book game on.
I understand why people don't want clones. Things change when they are no longer being made except as a clone.

I'd probably get an M-Atty clone just out of spite. That guy and the scene (read: circle jerk of sycophants) around his atty is ridiculous.
You guys are awesome! I'm in no way trying to jam clones down your throats please don't take it as such. I'm not particularly excited about the clone concept myself. That said I would like to stick to out of production attys or attys that are nearly impossible to get at or close to retail. I'm really not trying to recreate my fast tech days of trying 10 different concepts at a time. My philosophy is this: if you make a product and it becomes successful step up your game and meet the challenge or prepare to be cloned and left for dead. This is not a concept exclusive of the ecig world, this is business. These products are made with big machines that do 95% of the work. If you have a market for 5000 pieces make 4800 pieces don't make 500 and sit on your hands and watch the flippers get rich while crying the blues that you are working as hard as you can. If that's the best you can do you need to hire help, period. Let me step down from my rickety soap box and say this; until an atty becomes impossibly rare or discontinued I will avoid doing clones of it. Until the snapdragon 1.5 goes out of production or is replaced by a newer model I'm not touching it. Now if you want a real one let me know, last I checked they can still be found for retail.
