********Now that most of the Cyclones and Reactors are out the door what direction should Catfish go? Should I:
Stick with trying to stay cutting edge with the latest and greatest of the Dripper World?
Stick with the Cyclones and Reactors?
Shut up and do what we tell you to do when we tell you to do it?
Double my prices and turn this into a career?
I would love your feedback (although I do reserve the right to ignore it). What should I do differently? What is working well?
I started drilling atties because I was frustrated with the lack of selection of bottom fed choices. There were a few people drilling for themselves and maybe the occasional favor for a favor deal but no one had stepped up and said friend or enemy I will drill your atties. I do enjoy getting to take apart and blueprint how to get the best out of any atty through bottom feeding. I especially enjoy doing the atties that "can't be done without slotting the bushing"; Trident, zero slotting, bushing untouched less than 20 minutes. I enjoy the difficult atties and would love the chance to do a Veritas. I did a Magma clone last night but would love to convert an oem version.
So what do guy and ladies think I should do? I'm not fishing for a pat on the back, I'm just wondering what direction you would take.
get into an OEM model or three... there is a market right now for B/F RDA's like never before due to the sub ohms Reo contacts.
Funny thing though it seems Reo is such an institution, and most of the fan base is pretty conservative (imo)...
I put up a thread "SubOhms Reo vs Mech tubes" and got some " you don't need the rest, when you got the Best, and we don't need no damn tubes"...
There's a Reo culture out there; and lots of them scoffed at sub ohms vaping.
I don't knock them...
I used to be one before I went subohms 2 or 3 years ago, and hadn't picked one up until he got the sub ohms kits.
I remember the first runs of the metal Reo's ... I couldn't buy one for days and days... crashed site, it was impossible to f5 at the time.
When the s/o kits came out and Rob fitting all Reo's with them, I expected that Rob would sell thousands right off the bat, and the reason I posted that thread is because at .35 to .6 ohms I find them more consistent and maintenance free than the "damn mech tubes' that I've been chasing for the last couple years for sub ohm'ing.
All I'm saying is "why don't more sub ohms vapers jump on the Reo Grands" now that they are sub ohms capable?
sorry to get off track here, but anyway there "should" be a huge market for B/F RDA's and you might as well gear up with your own signature model.
Just don't fall into the pit that some did ie. the Zenith2 pre order.... gadzooks that guy took a fall with the huge demand and the 2nd runs got messed up at the machine shops. It was ugly.
