Received my ccv resurrector starter kit, upgrading from 21st century gas station ecig. Filled first tank, primed. All good ready to go right? No, gurgling and very poor vapor production. I even get liquid drops coming through my drip tip. No throat hit or vapor production even with 24mg 70/30 juice. Im resorting to filling my old cartomizers from my 21st to vape until i can figure it out.
help plz
searched with no results that covered my issue.

Dripped 10-12 on poly, 1/2 tank filled. Poor vape production

They are 1 ml and 1 ml= 20 drops. What's happening is the filler is not fully saturated. After they're first filled properly you need only drip into the top to refill. put a round toothpick in the airways and drip fill. Once the juice has been absorbed take outside and "thermometer shake" the carto so juice gets down to batt connector end. Blow out excess juice and wipe batt end of carto. Add a few more drops- when vaping you should hear a distinct sizzle.

Carto has slushy look, no gurgling. Some sizzle is heard. Still very poor vapor production opposed to the joyetech ego-t videos ive watched. As far as ease of use is the joyetech ego-t easier to use opposed to my ccv resurrector tank style?

Could also be the batt end of carto not making good contact with battery.
Pull it very gently and slowly

Dripped 10-12 on poly, 1/2 tank filled. Poor vape production. Ill get one mediocre hit then it fades to nearly no vape.
The resurrector carto is actually a Smoktech single coil 1.7 ohm XL. It holds a minimum of 1.8 ml of liquid when fully saturated. This carto should be fully saturated before firing up as they run hot and are easy to burn. How may drops you put into a carto before it is filled is an approximate figure depending on liquid and dripper bottle used but I can get anywhere from 45 to 60 drops into a Smoktech XL on the first fill. No two Smoktech XLs will hold exactly the same amount of liquid but he minimal amount is 1.8 ml.

From the link to CCV:

"- 2 Extra 1.7 ohm XL size tank type cartos"

You're right and I had forgotten. I use the non flanged cartos with tanks as they're easier to first fill.

Im going to have a friend of mine who is more experienced than i to take a look at it.
Even with only 10-12 dripped the extra in the tank should fully saturate the poly, right?

The carto should take approx 35- 40 drops. When I first began vaping a friend had a clear carto. we filled it with juice and it was amazing at how stubborn the juice was in getting to the bottom of the carto. Did the thermometer shake and we could see the juice being forced to the bottom. First fill is so VERY important.

Im seeing the importance first hand. Thats my problem, no juice to bottom of carto is my guess

With non flanged cartos I use the condom method. With flanged models I'm forced to thermometer shake several times. Another suggestion is to use a syringe and fill, down the 3 sides on the carto, in three equal amounts.

What are the chances the 2 cartos ive tried are bad if not producing ample vape?

Hey Zimmer0: Funny thing the same happened to me? The first two Resurrectors out of the box did not work at all? No Vapor No Nothing at all? The third one out of the box worked fine! I contacted CCV about the problem they took care of it! Saying its not that often but problems do arise! I found them to be very responsive to defective products as well as helpful with all my questions add their fast shipping to the whole thing brought me back to them! I haven't had a problem since!
