...to all the naysayers and haters out there, I say...why don't your start a business in direct competition and we will see how you do...plenty of other vendors out there, most of them are regularly out of stock on certain items as well so, feel free to give them the business as well...or start your own or order direct from China and deal with THEIR customer service...for me, having done business with the man since summer, with having talked directly with him several times...often on his dime and considering all that I get for the price(freebies AND a guarantee on everything he sells), I will continue to do business with CCV and wish him/them nothing but the best...............
madjack:2cool:

p.s. the above is solely my opinion and in no way relates to anything, anywhere, at any time...TYVM and in closing, as my wise ol' Daddy used to say, honey will catch many more flies than vinegar...imjusayin...........mj

p.s.s. I guess this makes me officially, a FANBOI, for the first time in my life...vaping(in general) is like that!!!!!!!...mj

Take a look at the top of the page on the Mad Vapes site. Thats all it takes. I'm pretty sure that most of the people complaining would be perfectly fine or chose to go somewhere else if a little simple communication took place.

Due to an increase in order volume and the Holiday time off, order processing is delayed. We are working very hard to get all orders out ASAP and we appreciate your patience while we get caught up. Thanks!

...and madvapes is a much larger shop with several employees...like someone to take the time off from filling orders to put a note on the website...while I do agree CCV might have prevented this SNAFU with a bit of communications I also understand, sometimes priorities get in the way...like filling hundreds of orders...like dealing with vendors to get the product in hand andda hundred other things...kinda like life in general..........
madjack:2cool:

p.s. ...not aimed at anyone...just general thoughts...I don't think folks adequately engage their brain at times or take the time to realize just what is involved in single handedly running a business especially one that is exploding...order processing, dealing with credit card companies, ordering/receiving orders, dealing with the banks...especially internationally, obtaining shipping supplies and postage, getting order boxed and ready to go...with the right addresses on them and all the rest of life to add some spice to the mix...like I told Andrew over the phone during Christmas...be careful of what you wish for...you just might get it..........mj

p.s.s. by the way, I did order from Madvape over the holidays...they immediately acknowledged my order AND ran my credit card through...then processed and shipped my product over A WEEK LATER..now THAT, I don't find acceptable BUT, I will order from them again because they are a reputable vendor...of which I have read numerous complaint about as well...vinegar or honey...imjusayin...the choice is yours to make........mj

THIS. It could also be a good idea to make an email list for recent orders and simply say the same thing after their order is placed. "Please bear with me, I've had a massive increase in orders. Your order will be shipped in approximately X business days." That way he's taking care of the problem before the customer has to start wondering and he's doing it on his own accord not being interrupted by a customer. I placed a $100+ order and had no indication that it was going to take so long to get my order shipped. Holidays or not, a priority mail shipping label can be printed at any time. It may sit for a day but at least I know it's been packed.

I don't understand the posts stating that he'd be able to ship more if he had less emails to send. Give me a break. Customer service is a major part of any business and it needs to be tended to.

I love CCV, I think Andrew is probably a fantastic stand-up guy and he'll continue to get my business but the complaints people are having is justified in my opinion.

So do it! No one is stopping you. Thats what I dont get. No one is telling you you have to order from a certain vendor.

I already said earlier, I ordered once and never again. I'm sharing my experience with CCV. I will repeat, on the first page of their site when I ordered, it said ALL ORDERS PLACED BEFORE 3PM WILL BE SHIPPED THE SAME DAY.. They didn't ship for 2 weeks.

Terrible, and his emails we're nasty when I complained. I would post them but I believe it's against forum rules.

Yes, to me CCV SUCKS and I'll never order from them again and will discourage others from doing so.

Perhaps we're all assuming it's Andrew who answered your emails and was rude, maybe not. Maybe he allows his assistant to do that and sign his name I don't know.
I have never had a problem with him personally but I don't expect an immediate answer to my emails either from any vendor!
Would it be nice? Sure but I think for a guy operating a booming business alone or with one helper it's highly unlikely that he can just stop everything to answer all emails or spend one whole day answering all the questions and emails he must get.
If he's answering emails all day long your order isn't being mailed!
Most importantly is this; It's a one man business with hundreds or thousands of orders a month!
Give him a break!

Well that's just it with me. My payment WAS processed and still has not shipped going close to two weeks now. As others have stated a simple heads up would've helped tremendously.

And since when are we not allowed to share less than positive reviews and have that be considered as complaining too much? Direct experiences both positive and negative should be shared. Isn't that the purpose of an internet forum/community?

...by all means, share your concerns...along with what type of communications you have had with CCV about the problems you have had...regardless of how it may sound, I am interested...as I have said myself, a little judicious communication on CCVs part, could have avoided much of this...just as a pleasant phone call to CCV could/should have as well...afterall, they are the only ones who can ultimately solve your problems with them............

CCV is great and Andrew is a stand up guy . If anything the problem may be the customer . If anyone cant understand how hard it is to start up a company and be a one man shop then they are crazy . Im sure he is putting everything he got into getting orders filled . CCV has grown super fast too . Its easy when you start and have a few customers but when your now getting a 100 orders a day its becomes stressfull on every part of your body . I dont understand how someone could work super hard probably 20 hours a day and people still want to crucify them because their order took a week or two to ship out .

I also run a small business so i feel his pain expecially around the super busy holiday season .

Now you guys also want to bombard him with emails and make more work for him (nasty emails that make someone feel like crap because you know your doing everything possible ) while hes bleeding out the eyes trying to fill orders as fast as possibles . Then you want him to stop and email everyone personally . lol .Do people not realize how that makes a person feel mentally . It can make a grown man cry and ruin his life over what a couple cartos that will get there eventually .Thats not right .Put yourself in his position . Its not like hes even making lots of money . He making bare minimum and just helping everyone out by offering it cheap and cutting his profits . In helping people out he got more and more busy and now everyone wants to crucify him when he is only trying to help . If he get rude emails after putting his body, soul, blood, sweat and tears to do everything for the customer in his power then i can see how it would break a person down to send a rude email back . The world really is a cut throat place . Im surprised hes not in a mental ward by now .

Places like madvapes are much different . Madvapes has a staff of more than 20 people and most likely major accounts . Cant really compare the two . Andrew is in business just to help put food on the table for his family most likely . I dont know him personally but i do feel his pain .Not to mention im sure he didnt forsee the growth CCV got in just a couple months . Nobody expects that type of growth . Im sure even if he could hire more people he sure doesnt have the time to . I can see hiring anything more than one person being very hard with the prices he charges .

I just wanted to save that quote ...
I did my part as a customer. I picked out what I wanted and I paid. Please tell me where I failed. And no, I have not been complaining to CCV and wasting their time with silly things like 'questions'.

Well then your not the problem lol . Im just saying the people who are posting all over that CCV is a horrible company and calling him every name in the dictionary over a few week wait .

Granted, Andrew is just staring out and is a one man show. Then maybe he needs to start cutting off orders for a day or two. My company I work for learned the hard way of taking on more than they could handle. We lost one of our major customers which is leading to layoffs. I will order from CCV if they have the best price when I need more supplies. However there are vendors out there that treat all customers better, not just select customers.

I'm a small business owner and one-man show. I do everything from production to sales, to marketing, to question answering, packaging, shipping, etc etc. I know how hard it is. My order from CCV placed on the 3rd of this month is my very first experience ordering vaping stuff from the internet. I was starting to get severely impatient myself, even being a very patient man, not hearing anything about my order being shipped, etc. But I can understand being busy and overloaded. I'm not so impatient any more. I'll just order some stuff to get me by until my CCV order arrives. But looking at it from a fellow business-owner standpoint, the bit on the website about shipping times should be changed. I know all that takes time, precious time... but just sayin', people in general are selfish and impatient and aren't always understanding to things like this. If the website says "this" they expect "this" right now, right then, or else.

In the meantime, I'll patiently cling to my last barely operable atty, and hope to hold out until something arrives. :)

As the huge CCV thread states and those who frequent it know-- he has stopped taking orders to play catch up because he feels bad about all the recent delays. He's a really sweetheart of a guy doing the best he can and yes I believe the website should be more accurate as to what the expected shipment time frame is on any given day or week.

Anyone who waits more than a week has been getting extras. He has a rewards points system that you can use for future purchases. He has free shipping. He gives a free drip tip and a free syringe with every order of cartos. He's backed up to eternity because nobody else can touch the deal.

There is also an ECF ten percent off on the Coupon Code Master List that can be used every single time you order that further expands your savings. He also gives every 1000th order free (refunds their money entirely) and something for every 100th order. Is all that worth the wait? For me, yes. For those who need it quickly there are many other vendors who will charge you more without all the extras but you will get it faster.

99.9999% of e-cig vendors spoil the heck out of us with super-fast order processing and good shipping times. The occasional problem happens to slow things down once and a while, but generally speaking, they do indeed completely spoil us.

I've ordered items for work and for my hobbies from all sorts of electro-mechanical devices from vendors and manufacturers all over the globe. From 500 miles away to half a globe away, I've probably been responsible for tens of thousands to maybe even hundreds of thousands of packages being shipped to me or for me by every shipping method possible over the last decade or so. E-cig guys spoil me rotten. I have a 7 week old order for electronics out of a place in Oregon. It probably won't ship for another week to ten days. I could cite tons of examples of having to wait a long time for necessary stuff for my job.

Even a guy that needs a couple of weeks to get some hardware out to you is ten steps ahead of many of the people I get stuff from for work

Has anyone had recent (last week or so) experience with CCV? I'm getting ready to place a hundred dollar order, but I'm feeling some trepidation due to some of the comments I've read. Its carts, tanks, and parts, so nothing I really need within a week or so - I'm just a mailbox vulture, and the mailman is already thinking something is up >>

The high esteem in which CCV is held by this community, as well as his prices ;), make CCV really tempting.

I've been ordering from CCV since he opened. I've never had an issue (this is just me, I can't speak for anyone else). I had one order mixup but that can happen anywhere I guess. That could have been my fault because I thought the order went through and somehow it didn't.

If I was him, I'd stop taking phone calls and do CS through email. From the rate of people that appear to be calling him, that must take up most of his day.
