I tried to order from CCV and they sent me a message saying they do not ship to APO addresses since it is an overseas shipping. I dont think some vendors like CCV understands APO address. Guess if your in the military and deployed, you are SOL! Oh, well, guess I wont be ordering from them. Lots of other vendors who ships to APO address.

Another "NEVER AGAIN" vote for CCV.

Yeah, his prices are good. Yeah, he has free shipping.

But when it takes 2 weeks to get a package in the mail vs 1 day from other vendors? Nope. When inquiries are replied to with rudeness and hostility? Nope.

There's absolutely nothing that he sells that can't be bought elsewhere, and I'm more than happy to spend an extra 2 or 3 dollars to get my equipment from a vendor that actually cares about his customers.

I'm sure Andrew really is a "great guy", but he's not much of a businessman.

p.s. ...not aimed at anyone...just general thoughts...I don't think folks adequately engage their brain at times or take the time to realize just what is involved in single handedly running a business especially one that is exploding...order processing, dealing with credit card companies, ordering/receiving orders, dealing with the banks...especially internationally, obtaining shipping supplies and postage, getting order boxed and ready to go...with the right addresses on them and all the rest of life to add some spice to the mix...

You're absolutely right, most folks don't take all of that into account. They just think, "Hey, I'll start a business and make tons of easy money!"

Those are all factors that should be thought about, and thought about seriously before starting a business. Andrew didn't. And the inevitable result is just what's happening. Lots of unhappy customers and lots of bad publicity.

Okay this has already been talked about over and over and over again.
Yes he was backed up before, but hes not anymore. I ordered from hiom last week and it was shipped out within 24 hours. I know of 5 other people that have ordered within the last week and a half too and all their orders went out within 24hrs as well.

You said it yourself, he sells nothing that cant be bought elsewhere for a few more bucks. So quit complaining and do it. No one is forcing you to order from CCV. Honestly, you make me laugh because its obvious how clueless you are about the situation based on your comments.
Enjoy paying those "few extra dollars" for the same products since CCV is the worst business ever with a terrible "businessman" for an owner:laugh:

And saying that Andrew didnt think about anything before starting the business is a very ignorant comment bc you dont have a clue what he thought about and what he didnt before he started CCV. And even if he did think everything through, theres no way to expect to have a business to blow up that fast and within months be getting hundreds of orders a day. Its called growing pains and most if not all new businesses go through it. That in no way at all makes him a bad business man. A bad business man wouldnt be able to handle that and possibly even have to close the business bc of growing too rapidly. Andrew handled the rapid growth hiccup and is now back to shipping within 24 hours again.
So why does that make him a bad businessman?

How about him not shipping to APO addresses? Any reason you can think of?

How exactly am I "clueless" about the situation? The situation is that an online business was taking 7 to 14 days to ship orders. That's just plain bad business. It's a situation that no business I've ever operated or even been a part of would have ever allowed itself to be in.

The "situation" is also that inquiries about the status of an order were responded to by an employee who was extremely rude and basically came right out and said "quit bothering us, you'll get it when you get it".

Again, bad way to do business.

He went into the Christmas holiday, the busiest shopping time of the year, completely unprepared for an increase in order volume.

That's amateur hour stuff....

So just exactly which part of "the situation" is it that I'm so clueless about? I know a lot of people seem to really like Andrew on a personal level, but I'm not sure how that translates to CCV being a business that should be recommended to poeple looking for a pleasant shopping experience...

Well, (if I remember right) according to the huge drama-filled 'cartos guaranteed' thread, Andrew hired help for December who then either intentionally or unintentionally sabotaged his business by not filling orders and also deleting orders from their database and marking them as completed and shipped. Also the gov got in his business for the syringes he was giving out.

As for right now, Chinese holidays are holding back stock shipments on some items, and that seems like part of the problem. I guess he could have planned in advance, but madvapes is having the same problem so I don't know. Otherwise I'm figuring that delays in service are lingering effects from the "help."

It does seem like his CS guy isn't the most tactful person around, though. ; )

(Man, what a terrible thread that was)

Ive never had a problem with C C V.That's the only place I buy my Boges from, always getting the 3 pack deal.I usually get my orders in 3 to 4 days after I place my order. So with free shipping I have no complaints. When ever Ive had a question for them, they reply in a timely manner.I'm sticking with them regardless the shipping time frame.
