I know CE-2s have been discussed to death, I'm sorry if anybody is getting sick of reading about it. But after a lot of research, and so much discussion, I couldn't help myself, and I ordered a lot of them from e-liquid.cn. First I just want to say that these are the final r4s, I opened one up to be sure. They come straight from the factory with the royalsmokers packaging, any that don't come in this package are either ordered in bulk, specifically requested without them, or more likely they are repackaged.
So far the first one I tried on my 510 was nearly perfect. Better throat hit than any attie/carto/anything I have tried so far. Plenty of vapor, good taste, great throat hit. The first 808 i tried was terrible. Practically no vapor, no th, burnt awful taste. Second 808 was slightly better but not by much.
The 510s I ordered were in the 2.4-2.6ohm range, the 808s were 3.0-3.2ohm. Oddly enough I was playing it safe by ordering the 3ohm, as I was under the impression that 3.0 would be ideal for the 808s, and anything higher may not give enough vapor or th.
The main point I am trying to get across is that CE-2s can be great, or they can be terrible. They aren't reliable, and if you are willing to look at every box like a lottery ticket, than CE-2s are for you. If you would rather stick to what you know and not take any risk, that is what I strongly advise you do.
