we will have a buttload of inventory ariving, no worries, we have tons of everything on the way and tons of new things on the way and some of it is here already to be put up in the next day or 2
Just tried one of these on an XL Fluxo. As Chris has already pointed out the fit is awful particularly on the mouthpiece but the rubber seal is too narrow for the ceramic cup and too small for the tube bore.
So I fitted the seal and tried to use it with a drip tip. It vapes quite well but without the mouthpiece seal juice can migrate past the cup seal through the filling slots if you lay it down.
The wick slots seem way to narrow to me and nowhere near deep enough, and the whistle tip is just going to be a juice trap and cause long slow draws to be needed. Also with a flat tip we go back to having to align the clearo again unless you are one of those peculiar types that prefer mods with switches on the bottom end
- a round tip like a cannon drip tip does away with this faffing about.
I think if the cup seal was made to fit the cup and the tube properly, and the tip was redesigned like a short cannon drip tip we would have something far more useful.
Not knocking the GotVapes guys, kudos to them for trying new things. This is my attempt at honest feedback to help improve the products. Chris, Danno - so many clearo lovers swear by the drip tip... we really do not need to go back to whistle tips... the cup seal design is great it's just the fit on this batch that is lousy, but please ditch the whistle tip and redesign the kit with a drip type tip. Then you would have a real winner IMHO.

i thought the driptip was supposed to go in and seal up any leaks from what people had said?
I slid the rubber seal into the 1 per pack rubber tip that comes with them and now what i've been doing is just putting that on so it doesn't leak, then I pop it out and just vape it without a tip. that way I'm not sucking juice.

Couldn't tell you which r steel ones I have, just that they are the ones currently on sale at gotvapes. I just use the inner seal with the pawn chrome drip tip. Works well but a little fiddly to get placed just right to me. But functionally, once it is in place it works well.
Thanks. The ones I have are quite a bit older than the ones GotVapes are selling. But good to know that it works albeit with a drip tip. It's what I was after in the first place really.

The taste is awesome, in the video I coughed from the throat hit & the menthol was kicking it too. So far I tried three flavors, and all of them taste like I direct dripped in to an atty. Once this plug is installed properly in the tube, it changes the characteristics dramatically, vapor, flavor, TH, & voltage wise, I may have to go higher in ohms on my next order. If you notice I used the eyedropper to fill the Fluxo, so no syringe needed and a regular bottle can also be used filling. I hope to make a follow up vid with some different drip tips & a mod to the original mouthpiece plug so they can work with the new seal.

Everything seemed to go great, installing the seal and re-installing the tube upside down. But I'm getting dry hits and leaking. Maybe I didn't get the seal in there right and its pinching the wick, resulting in loss of capillary action. It seemed when I was trying to get the rubber piece to sit on the ceramic cup, it wanted to lean to one side or the other.
Tonight I will try again and use those little tips that came in the kit, as you suggested. If I can get the fluxomizers to work as good as the vision deluxe cartomizers, it will be worth the trouble.

By leaking could you be more specific? From the mouthpiece end I presume? Just a guess here but the type of drip tip could be an issue, if it doesn't sit completely on the new seal it might be getting under and around the drip tip. I have different kinds so I gave my recommendations based on what I have. Also, if you're getting dry hits, as I mentioned, you may be vaping quicker than the wicks are getting saturated, just go back to the tipping trick to help keep the wicks wet. Good Luck!

How to fix the leakage with any drip tip:
You know how the whole cup apparatus can slide up and down on the post? After I install the cup-seal (gman style) I use my pclip tool to pull the whole cup apparatus higher on the post, and then pop in the drip tip which pushes it back down just a little. This closes the gap between the cup-seal and the DT, and eliminates leakage. And I still tip while I vape with these, as the laws of gravity are still in effect. But with them properly installed, they don't seem to pinch the wicks, and filling is a breeze.

The leaking I'm experiencing is coming from the drip tip. The tip I'm using may not be long enough and make a good seal as you pointed out. Tonight I'm going to try some other tips including the black one that came in the fluxomizer box.
Just for reference I was using a 2.5ohm flux on a provari around 3.5 volts. Also, I gave it plenty of time to saturate.
