I had 3 CE3s quit on me today. One I think was all ready dead and got mixed in, but 2 of them I was using and went to refil before completly empty and they would not fire. I have been using CE3s for a month now and not run into this, am I doing something wrong that I got lucky and got away with?

Thats a typo up top that I can not edit, should read CE3 filling

It seems pretty odd for 2 CE3s to suddenly stop working at the same time. I would have said it was a battery problem too. I'm not sure if you can pull out on the battery post on the CE3 itself. I've never had to to do that. I think you should try that, since you have nothing to lose. Have you tried other CE3s?

I had 2 die suddenly and prematurely. When I dismantled mine, the coils were gunked up pretty good. In case it is not just bad luck, I have taken to rinsing out more frequently, and will dismantle to clean more thoroughly.

Also, In my case, vaping to dry before refill my cause premature gunking. I did this with my first two, and they both died in less than 10 fills. I only rinsed out once each after about 5 fills.

I've been running into this lately. Out of the last pack of CE3s, the last three started giving me nothing but that burnt flavor and very little vapor. I had only filled them once before.

I'm not totally sure, but I think I've tracked it down to some slightly old vanilla flavored e-juice from mtnvapor.com. I tried some of the same juice in a smokeless image X2 clearomizer and after about 10 drags, I started getting the same thing. So I emptied it out, rinsed REALLY well, and let it air dry for a few hours. Refilled it with the same juice and got the same results; a few good drags, then just a burnt taste and very limited vapor. Tried both a manual and automatic Volt X2 battery. Same thing.

I've rinsed the X2 clearomizer again and will try a different juice and see what happens. And not that it probably matters, but I've always got more flavor and vapor from the CE3s than the X2 clearos. I've got ONE CE3 left so I'm determined to solve this problem before I use my last one, heh. Can't afford to order more right now.

I am not sure what kind of official report you are looking for.... there are many things that can harm a disposable clearo or carto.... junked up coils from liquid residue, dropping them, stepping on them... dislodging the insertion silicon cap...the connection needing a post adjustment... etc... You will of course get a response about your specific issue :) These ce3's are one of the few generic products we carry so we do not specify the changes the manufacturer makes to them we just use our QC to the best extent we can :p

not quite sure what you mean no communication...we are working with them extensively behind the scenes with our factory.... this design is produced at many factories...and we are working with the engineers at our factory to see why they made a change and to have it corrected.

Seeing as many have issues with the new CE3s I thought that there may have been some communication between the retailers and the manufacturer. From what I can find this is not the case and maybe something we will have to raise with them our selves.

I have gotten rid of the burnt taste by squeezing the tube, you'll see air bubbles come up from the bottom. I think the tube is tighter around the wicks on these and you need to kind of help them when they are brand new? Anyway, mine are now working fine, after a few squeezes you don't have to do it anymore.

Ive been doing this also, works well but at least for the methol burst it needs one squeeze before every vape. Still my fav clearo, even with the current short comings.

.

I read somewhere on ECF (nah I can't find it again) that removing the CE3 from the batt then covering the air holes and taking 10 quick puffs (no air should get it) should prime it nicely. I tried it a few times and really can't be sure if it helped or not. one of the replies said it worked, but to be careful. You could get a couple drops that you need to clean up with a tissue.

Well, my previous theory has proved to be incorrect. Doesn't matter WHAT juice I use. After maybe two refills, I get the burnt taste, low vapor, etc. Giving it a gentle squeeze DOES indeed produce air bubbles from the wicks. And that helps. But yeah, having to do that between every drag is a....wait for it....drag! Also, after doing this for about an hour, the clearo started leaking really bad. I don't think it ruined my X2 battery though.

Anyway, I hope we get a solution to this pretty soon. I LOVE the CE3s. When they work, that is.
