New CE3s, nothing but trouble for me

Just rebuilt four of them during my lunch break. They work great!

Only had a problem with the one wire that hangs down -- just couldn't get it cut short enough so had to do some fussing to get it to stay put, but a small pair of scissors would've dealt with it better.

Thanks for the tips! Even though I just received another 5-pack of CE3s, I won't need to use them for now.

Glad you had good success, onion! I have a stash of 20 new ones, just in case, but to be honest, they last long enough that I am reconsidering rebuilding them, even a cheap as I am. I have some from 2012 that are still going strong!

I used 2.5 mm silica wick, but I think I might pull some strands out. Airflow seems to be restricted a bit too much. Gonna tinker some more at lunch today.
