Once the barrel is off you can get to the coil easily. Don't try to remove that or you'll kill the CE3 in the process. My hat is off to whoever figured out how to get the put together on the assembly line, whether it's by machine or by hand.

Can't bring myself to work on the dead CE3.... So I fired up #2 instead

10 - New one works great, but oddly, I'm only getting bubbles from one side. Not sure if it means anything significant, it is vaping great though, so I will chaulk it up to OCD. Bubbles seem bigger coming from only 1 side. The liquid I am testing is 18mg nic so I have to be careful not to vape too much too fast.

Can't say I ever studied the bubble production, but I think it may be subject to the "butterfly effect" and be more or less random unless there is a quirk inside the wick/coil chamber. I just took a drag on the CE3 I'm using right now, no bubbles at all...it's almost empty, time for another, full, one. Now, I just tried taking a drag from the battery with no CE3 attached while I was fixing typos. Jeesh!
LOL, now I dont feel so bad when I try to take a draw on my manuals and forget to push the button.
I only mention the buble phenomena because I was staring at the bubbles on the first CE3 all the time, watched the bubbles on both sides. This one is almost boring.... always from the same side. I haven't messed with the post on either. And I got nervous trying to disassemble the dead one... I was putting so much force trying to pull it off, I was afraid I would damage the battery. I don't have a dead one I can use. Worst comes to worst, I will just set the first CE3 aside for future borg'ing opportunities.

I tried Ry4 from the sample pack... Not really a fan. Then again, I realized I am not really a fan of the tobacco flavors. Just finished a bottle of Freedom (ok) and have a bottle of Country/Cowboy (eh), but I will finish the bottle.
I am still struggling to find flavors I can say I really enjoy. So far, I am leaning toward coffees, and som milder fruits. I find that some sweets don't taste right, either "chemically", burnt, or just nasty. In general, the taste isn't consistent on almost anything.

Some of the tubes are harder to get off than others.
I do a slight wiggle and pull and wiggle it on different sides (rotate clockwise...wiggle/pull..roatate again...wiggle/pull).
Have you checked your dead one with an ohm meter?
The 2 i tried i cracked. They became a drip tester until i stepped on them. Now they are spare parts.
Someday i am going to hire awsum to show me how to tinker. I am all thumbs.
Too bad you're in Cincy and I'm not, LOL. Maybe I'll dig out my ancient web cam and see if I can make a quick video. You can also have a look on YouTube. I know MrOutlaw did a few videos on the CE3 and I'm sure there must be a ton of them.

Just got "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage...Diagnose connection problems?" Keep pluggin' away at it. For some reason the URL is getting truncated with "..." in the middle. Bummer!
Hope you guys could find it with search. For some reason it is not allowing me to paste the link in anyway, even un-parsed it still cuts the center.

Yup, looks length sensitive. I removed the HTML tags and hope that works.
Nope that wouldn't work either.
Good video though. Priming it before filling is a good idea, especially if it's been washed with water or vodka.
