The thing I don't like about doing that is I will always squirt liquid out somewhere or somehow. It is all user error on my part.

On a side note, imagine these little things are pretty durable. I have 3 still using from july. They are like the energizer bunny. I also use a paper cip to pop out the inner seal. I bent a syringe needle popping it out. I am amazed at them. Also I had thouht they weren't si only. I can't find them anywhere else. I guess I was wrong. Kudos to si.

I shake it like a thermometer to get the juice away from the coils, then leave it upside down for a few minutes.
Sometimes I get a drop coming out the coil end, but a quick wipe with a tissue takes care of that.

I guess we all have our rituals that work for us. I never pry off the inner seal. I always remove the tube from the base then push the seal out for cleaning. I have had some seals wear out by prying them off.

Like you, I'm finding that with proper care these CE3's last a LONG time.

I closed one in a door yesterday and it still works fine..................

Out of a good number of them so far, I have only had one leak out and it was on its last leg anyway. I was topping them off for a while and do if I plan to be out for a while but taking them down to the wicks is less work in my personal opinion. I have only tore one silicone seal by pulling them out but I had some spares so no big deal.

Is there any reason that I shouldn't "top off" a CE3 Carto...

Meaning, it's half empty and I refill it back up to the line before emptying it.

I don't really see any different in taste or vapor but the only issue would be leaking a lot of people report leak when CE3 is half full or less. I some time vape mine until the last drop when I need to clean or change flavor otherwise I would top off when liquid goes down to center tube / air chamber.

The main reason I ask is I sometimes don't quite finish a clearo through the day but I know there isn't quite enough in there to last another day and for obvious reasons I don't really want to carry a hypodermic needle into work with me. YA KNOW?!?

That why I have as many as 12 CE3s in services at the same time. I only fill mine twice a week 3-4 CE3s a time.

I doubt that SI would sell the seals and honestly, if you get a good enough collection of them for use; you will find that may have an extra when the time comes anyway.

I have a collection that leaks halfway down or lower but it only leaks while vaping so if I keep them horizontal and only covering one wick, it usually stops. Re-filling it will also stop the leak but the trick works so I typically just do that.

A suggestion if it matters, when you have one halfway down and if you have a selection of juice - try adding another flavor and turn it upside down and right side up a few times to mix it. You may find you like the mix.

Also, and I didn't see this noted but I could be wrong......you can only re-fill them with juice if the tip of the needle is above the juice while upside down. You will just push juice out the other side if not......and remove the needle while it is upside down. sorry if that was repeated.

oh and funny story about the needles at work.............all of my employees know what the vaping is and I have talked about it so they knew I wasn't smoking in my office but one of my guys saw my syringe sitting in a desk organizer and asked if that was for vaping and I said, "No, that one is for ...... - the one for vaping is in my desk drawer"

No, the needle does not have to be above the juice line when topping them off.

Just shake the CE3 like a thermometer to get the juice away from the wicks and coil, fill upside down like normal.
You may get one or two drops being pressed out but that's about it. It's really no different than filling an empty one.

Yup what harp said has always worked for me. Also use the same method for refilling no need to use the needle to suck the juice away from the air holes.
