I got my ceramic wicks in the other day and decided to load it up in the AGA-T+ today. First one snapped while tightening the top nut. The second one just doesn't wick worth a crap and I have down everything I can to get the coils to wrap tight but they just don't seem to hold even after torching them to the point of almost melting.

Anyways I tried 34, 32, and 30g wire on the wraps. Best one I got to work was 30g nichrome at 1.5 ohm but still tastes like a giant hot spot.

I know what the problem is, it's not making enough contact to the ceramic, just can't make it do it cause these aren't the smoothest things in the world.
