Certain flavours causing heart palpitations?

Does anyone have this issue?
I thought it was something to do with the nicotine content at first(I vape 12 mgs btw), but after changing flavors, my heart palpitations seemed to go away.
I was wondering if this is some strange allergy or maybe a negative reaction from the flavouring.

Doody, i get those if the Nic is too strong-was the nic strength the same in both flavours?
(In my case I have narrowed it down to the Nic strength,)

Palpitations can be caused from withdrawal from cigs or too much nic (did that a time or two myself).

I was getting probably more when I first started vaping- between withdrawal and 24mg. Scary for awhile, better when I cut nic down to 12mg and was done w/ ciggie withdrawal.

In my case tho several mths later when I had a dr. appt., I found out that I had inherited high blood press. BP was 190/?! Went on meds since and they are still there, but alot quieter. Probably caffeine induced now.

It's not hard to go to 6mg.?

Yeah both of them were 12 mg from the same supplier as well

I get the same thing if I vape too long. I'm vaping 24 mg, and stepping down to 18 mg for this reason alone. Maybe the 12 mg is just too much for you. I don't know why it would happen with one flavor, and not another, unless the flavor were from different vendors that use different ingredients.

Definitely weird. As others, I too would place the blame on the nicotine, as it does the same thing to me of I overdo it.
I don't know where you got your liquids, but it IS possible that one bottle has wrongly declared nic level.

I got this at first when I chain vaped my 24mg. Didn't happen after the first six weeks or so. Now at nine months and stepping down to 18mg. I still get a little nauseaus if I overdo it. Just put your ecig down for 15 mins or so when you get this way, and maybe lower the nic in the evenings (that's when I would chain vape).

I seem to get a cough and a tickle in my throat from coffee flavors. No other flavors seem to do it. Its ashame because I love the taste of most coffee juices.

doody, your decision is a good one. Allergies and intolerances are common. And all things being equal, as is the nic level in both, I would agree that there is a reaction to a flavor additive. It's not uncommon, you've drawn the logical conclusion.
