I don't know anything about the CGR18650CH but looking at it on amazon it seems to have similar if not the same limits as the aw imr. Someone with more knowledge will be by at some point to help out more.. I know I only really want to get AW's I think they seem very reliable and safe from what I've read and seen. jmo though.
Your builds of 1.5-1.8ohms don't need any high amp batteries. You can pretty much use any high mah battery out there and would still be safe while having life and performance.

True, but I believe you should still use IMR or IMR/hybrid batteries, rather than protected ICR batteries. You'll get higher mAh with the ICR's, but they are not high drain nor safe chemistry. IMR/hybrid batteries are high drain & safe chemistry.
Those Panasonics and AW's mentioned are both of the high-drain safe-chemistry variety. The Panasonics (2250 mAh) should get longer time per charge than the AW's (1600 mAh).
cool, lots of people are on the nothing but AW bandwagon but i have a soft spot in my heart for my gray panys and they have never let me down, or even got warm even going ~.8-- they are good bats and they last.
The Panasonic is a hybrid battery and Efest sells them branded as their black IMR 18650.
Even though not "pure" Li-Mn I would definitely choose the Panasonic over the AW because of the extra capacity.
