I used to smoke whenever i could , so basically all the time.
since I started vaping with green smokes (3 batteries>allways 1 or 2 charging at the same time) at 16mg or 18 mg I haven't touched an analog again.
but then I found ECF ...
so I switched to the VE riva 1100 deluxe kit with a vivi nova 2.5 clearomizer
just started trying out different e-juices but still dont really know how to handle it

with the approx. 16mg juice I never get enough , ok sometimes i do for a little while ... minutes not hours
so i got some 24 mg witch really doesn't make any difference in my first opinion.

any suggestion on how to handle this transition correctly as i would like to lose the habit of having to constantly smoke... I mean chain-vaping

PS : only have tried 70/30 PG/VG juices or in some cases maybe 10 % less PG

friendly regards ,

I applaud your dedication to switching. It's not always an easy thing to do, most people require some sort of external motivation to get started. Staying the course is even tougher, you're at the point right now where most people fall off the wagon. Keep your chin up and don't give up on it. It will get better.

That said, there are a few things that you can do to try and make it a bit easier.

The Riva was a good choice, and I don't hear too many bad things about the vivi nova, but you may want to think about taking the resistance on your nova down a bit. 2.5 is good for a light smoker, or something that likes a cooler vape. If you want to try and kick back the cravings, see about getting some 2.0ohm heads, or even 1.7ohm. Note: 1.7ohms can shorten the total life-span of your battery, by drawing more power than the battery really wants to kick out. Many people do it, but you may notice that your batteries break before they probably should have. I've got some eGo batteries that I've been using for a year now, and they work just fine.

There is a little something that you don't get from vaping that you did get from cigarettes. We don't really have any data on what it could be, but it's more than likely some of the bad things from tobacco that your body got addicted to. There is something called a WTA (Whole Tobacco Alkaloid) that you can get from some vendors, I've never used it, so I can't say if it does anything or not for the cravings.

Basic PG/VG concept though: PG transmits flavor better, VG transmits thicker vapor. I've found that I really prefer a 75/25 pg/vg, so that's all I vape. Your mileage may vary.

The main thing though is to keep at it. After you hit 6 months of vaping, you will barely remember the cravings except for stressful situations, and once you get past a year, you're pretty close to in the clear...just stick with it.
