Because a Good 25A Battery costs about the Same as a Good 20A Battery.

And I have found that people tend to Lower their Ohms More than Raise their Ohms as they Get more into this.

Hmmm.........Google search 25 amp 18650 batteries
Most top listings
Samsung 18650 25R 25amp (NOT!) is is a 20amp rated battery
MNKE 18650 25/60 ......ahm......own them - 20a/60a and 40a pulse max advised

What other 25a batteries have you found?

I might have to Downgrade my 25A recommendation to 20A. Because you are Right, I'm not seeing as many 25A Batteries as I thought there were.

BTW - I recently got one of these...

18650 LG 18650HG2 3000mAh High Discharge Flat Top

LG INR18650-HG2 20A 3000mAh Bench Test Results | E-Cigarette Forum

I'm not sure if it has the full 3000mAh that it says it does. But it does last longer than all of my 2500mAh Batteries.

Read a lot about them already! Looks decent.

industry note:
I have found on mAh ratings you really need the test data. some are a bit shakey.
20a continuous, Rated 2500mAh, but tested at 15a. then at 20a drops to 2180mAh

They all use differing test standards.:lol:Standards:lol::lol:

Im with other folks, get a 650 mod, amp draw is only half the story, those little cells will suffer some decent v sag as well.
I use 28 AWG in parallel coils.

Two of these will be at 0.5 ohms, heat up and cool down fast because of the low mass.

Bingo. I use 28 right around .45-.55 ohms. It gets pretty warm but rarely blazing hot, with my fav Ti driptips I can chain thebattery dead.

If you want to continue to use a small mod higher gauge wire well help the battery run better. Less mass to heat up, quicker response times= longer lasting cells

I think the test data should start with discharge/recharge cycles.
maybe 10, maybe 50. maybe even 150, because 150 is half the nominal 300 charge cycles
What if a "20 amp" battery is only good for 15 amps after 10 or 20 charge cycles?

If a brand new battery is good for 20 amp CDR when it's new but only good for 10 amp CDR after 150 recharges, then for our purposes, maybe it's better considered a 10 amp CDR battery

What Kinda Blows my Mind is that I read all the Reviews and try to Digest all the Charts to get a Good 3000mAh Battery. Because I want to eek out 500 more mAh from an 18650.

But when I switched to e-Cigarettes, my First e-Cigarette had 98mAh.

LOL

What type of 18350 Battery are you Using?

Because at a Fresh charge of 4.2 Volts, you would be Asking the Battery to provided 8.4 Amps.

Amps = Volts / Ohms

And I am Not Aware of too many 18350 Batteries that would be Consider a Good Choice for that amount of Amps.

If you are going to go Mech Mod, I would Highly Suggest that you go with a 18650 Mech Mod. And use a Battery that has a Continuous Amp Rating of at least 25 Amps.

Thanks for that warning, mate. I'm well aware of the continuous discharge rate. I'm using the AW IMR 800mah with advertised max CDR of 12A, and the purple Efest IMR 700mah with max CDR of 10.5A. Should be ok, right?

The heat is not from the battery.

I don't think the battery is the concern. I'm thinking the coiling I the dripper is. My question is more on how to dissipate the heat of each long vape off the RDA faster.
