I'm about two weeks into vaping and frankly like it more than i did smoking which is pretty funny... Smoked for over 20 years and tried everything to quit, now i'm there.

I'm curious, is it normal because of the novilty to chain vape like this at first?

Thanks in advance..

I chain vaped a lot when I first started. One of the things about chain vaping is that eventually you can't taste the juice... so I learned to slow down after a while.

In my experience, the "jones" from vaping isn't nearly as bad as with cigarettes. So sometimes I go out without my PV. I was a 3 pack a day smoker, that is really amazing to me.

Been tobacco free for a tad under 4 months.

But yea- chain vaping may slow down after a while.

I've been chain vaping since I started almost a month ago. On the other hand I've been steadily dropping my nic amounts too (started at 36, down to 18). I think that's part of the reason I haven't leveled off on my useage. I recently started adding a drop of 0 flavor/0 nic as my juice has run low in my cartridge. I'm hoping to come down to 0 nic full time (just flavored). It's funny, cuz I didn't intend to quit smoking when I started. I guess I'm learning that I'm really addicted to the act of smoking and the smoke itself (vapor now).

Yes, in fact I like to recommend the following to new vapers:

vape early and vape often

Vaping is supposed to be easy.... vape before you start thinking about smoking, vape when you would have smoked, vape when you wouldn't have smoked, vape in places where you wanted to smoke but couldn't, vape, vape, vape.... it'll taper off eventually, but for now - vape on!

From what I have read, it could. Not to much vaping, but too much vaping with a very high nic level. You may want to look at how much you smoked and what nic level that gave you, then adjust so you are consuming somewhere near that level per day. I would guess when just starting out, most of us are not looking to increase our nic level, but still get that satisfaction level we got from analogs.

I'm a newbie though, only been at it for about a week, no analogs at all with no desire for one..... well I have the desire until I vape it away. That info is just from what I have read here on ECF.

("I use a 36mg nic. level in my juice would it hurt me vaping to much with a high nic. level?") Is it giving you headaches or anything else that seems odd to you? If not I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 8 months in and sometimes I chain vape all day long, then I have days where it's kind of like just there. To each their own.....

Well, probably will make you nauseous to vape a lot with 36mg juice. That's some pretty high mg juice. You could (and I'd recommend that you do) get some PG or VG (buy Wilton's glycerine at michaels craft store) and add it to your juice to make it lower in MG. Usually people do well on 18-24mg.

That being said, the worst that will happen is you'll feel all yucky on nicotine - similar to a night when you smoked way way more than usual and felt all gross. Worst case scenario: increased heart rate, sweating, nausea, vomiting, maybe headache. But you'll feel it coming on long before it gets that bad.
