I'm new. So I am sitting here chain vaping and reading this post thinking I am doing too much lol. Oh well I just refilled my tank and keep on keeping on lol.

It's only "too much" if you are nauseous, have stomach pains, or feel twitchy/nervous... there are other symptoms of nic OD but those are the main ones. It's normal to vape more than you smoked, the nicotine doesn't absorb as easily, and quitting smoking is a real BEAR. When my husband observed to me, when I first started, that I seemed to vape constantly, I just gave him, at about 100 dB, "WOULD YOU RATHER I WENT BACK TO SMOKING?!?!?!??!" He shut up and hasn't said another word. :D Smart man. ;)

I chain vape 3mg nic max VG liq at .3 - .4 ohms on a quad vertical coil rda with 24g A-1 kanthal ERRY DAY. Its amazing. I look back at how much juice i have gone through and how much vapor my lungs have consumed (i vape on average 8ml on a workday and 10-15ml on weekends) and there is still an INSANE (<understatement) difference in performance (stamina and breathing) when i do cardio. And I'm like, 30-40 lbs overweight. Vaping is sweet.

I chain vape my Lemo without a problem. I can clean a tank of 24mg/mL nicotine in about 30 minutes. That's 5mL of juice - gone. Nice buzz and my room is full of a nice cloud. No dry hits and that's 20w. 80vg/20 pg.

As said before, this is hard to do with Kanger tanks as the wick doesn't seem to keep up.

Chain vaping is the key for me to stop smoking as smoking gave an immediate strong nic hit as vaping doesn't. I found chain vaping, high nic juice, and a kayfun type tank, was the key for me. The kayfun type tank (I use a Lemo) gives a better nic buzz over my older kanger style tank.

I went from smoking a pack of black n mild cigars (inhaled) a day to maybe smoking a 1/4 of one cigar a week when I drink. For some reason when I drink I want real tobacco, but I quickly find it blah and go back to vaping. Such a fantastic difference vaping is over smoking.

I no longer smell like smoke, and I can breathe without an inhaler. Priceless if you ask me.

Recently I've been using my inhaler about twice as much as I did when I smoked... It's the VG; I'm still trying to get my lungs back to where they were before I got sick, smoked for a month, went back to vaping, and started using WTA that's very high VG. I'm hoping once I get to 120 days smoke-free, I'll have gotten rid of the ill effects of the VG, and back to just 6-8 puffs a day of my inhaler.

I figure, even if vaping temporarily makes my asthma worse, it's still better for me in the long run -- last I heard, asthma doesn't cause cancer, nor do inhalers. :D

No way, the VG was doing it? Do you do pure PG juice now? I am the exact opposite. Juice with PG in it was making me sneeze my head off and causing my left eye to swell up similar to if I had an allergen fall in there and puff now. I am now doing max VG juice from Mount Baker and sneezing and swelling of the eye has gone away.

It's weird how people's bodys can vary so widely. I guess you need to find what's right for you and stick with it.

I remember first doing 50/50 juice and I was sneezing but I thought it was just something to do with vapor. While trying to cloud chase, but still maintain flavor, I went to 80VG/20PG and found my sneezing to have decreased. Now I am on 100% VG and it went away entirely. The flavor isn't there as much, but it beats sneezing and having a swelled up eye. My kayfun doesn't like 100% VG too much, but my Lemo doesn't have an issue due to deeper juice channels.

No, not pure PG, though I probably would if it produced enough vapor; I think my best level is probably about 80%-85% PG, though today I'm vaping 90% PG, because I was using my inhaler a LOT yesterday, and I really need to get a handle on that. But the 90% PG seems to be working well for me today; not feeling so breathless, and yeah, the vapor's a bit on the thin side, but that's a small price to pay to be able to breathe. :D

I've been inhaling PG for over 30 yrs, in my inhalers, so I guess my body's just used to it. It causes me no problems, especially since I got a handle on the dehydration/electrolyte problem -- drinking about 10 oz of coconut water daily seems to fix that nicely. :thumb:

Same here, Andria..

My asthma has been twice as bad since I quit smoking a year or so ago. I vape 100% VG juices, as i'm allergic to PG. Use to hit the Spiriva every 2 or 3 days when I smoked. Now it's daily. My lungs have healed some...AND I only wheeze if I vape heavily during the day or after heavy exercising. I'm also gonna try going from 18mg nic down to 12 mg. That may help too... :vapor:

Brian

BUT....I DO FEEL, BREATHE AND SLEEP BETTER. :)

Man, that's rough -- if I couldn't vape PG, I'd have to just go back to smoking; VG makes me feel like my cat sounds, when she's trying to yark up a hairball -- feels like something is in there that won't move or cough up, and I just feel breathless all the time.

Actually I would think a higher nic level would be better, so you don't have to vape so much, so often. Since I went up to 10mg, I don't seem to vape nearly as often as I did at 8mg or 9mg.

I have been keeping my chain vaping a secret lol. I'm seriously a chain vapor at specific times. BUT things get so hot i panic.haha. I also notice the nautilus mini (well, i have serious issues with the naut as it is but....) even what i call not a severe chain vape on the nautilus mini and only at 7 watts because anything above that well....seems it cant handle and i'm livid about it. BUT back to chain vaping, what the hell do i need to USE to be ABLE to chain vape. If i cant have the occasional chain vape it makes me crave an analogue. I also admit that chain vaping on my usual 18mg makes me sick haha. SO i was keeping 12mg and it was still too much to chain vape on so I went way down to a 6mg and it was perfect. Problem with that was it didn't take long before i thought woah i need nicotine mwahahahahaaa

I use a SMOK UDCT (cartotank) and have zero issues on the occasions when I chain vape -- or a kayfun, but that means building your own coils. For the easy-replacement factor in something that can support chain vaping, definitely a cartotank.

I use my UDCT on a Vamo v2 at 10w, or even 11w sometimes; I use high-resistance (3.x ohms) single-coil cartos.
