MoN, The satin is as robust as is the rest of the chalice. I don't think its anything applied like paint - its just the way the SS is finished / buffed / not buffed etc. Someone with more knowledge of metal finish please correct me if I'm wrong.

Either way, just like polished SS, It can scratch if you hit it with something metal or abrasive. I've lightly scratched my polished when i rubbed it with a scotchbrite around the airhole when I went to try to remove a burr resulting from my drilling. That was a dumb thing to do. A countersink bit (as i later learned) is much better for deburring.

I will stick with the stock hole and adjust it myself .... I like to wind up about .055 myself :D

Still checking my email every hour waiting for a notice of the sale ........

Can't wait, I have 4 of the best bottom feeders ever made ........

Now I need 2 more of the best BF Atomizer ever made to top off the quartet :)

If we know exactly how many of us want the 1/16" airhole by the end of the day today Mark can plan accordingly and TRY to accommodate our wishes.

So again, how many plan to buy a chalice with a 1/16" airhole so he can get a count?

If you don't respond, no worries, just get the stock chalice and enjoy drilling thru that THICK Stainless steel beautiful chalice yourself :) I've done it twice and it is not fun :)

Can you put me on the list for a 1/16" airhole chalice ii as well bro :)

Yes I think the new satin will compliment the aluminum component of this mod perfectly.

And I keep my existing polished chalice right here:

Of course the existing chalice will be retrofitted with those awesome new screws :)

Will this run have the horizontal bands cut in the top cap like the pictures show on the website for satin finish?

This is the only thing holding me up and I know it prob sounds silly but for the price, I want a certain look on my pending Dibi OliveR.

Yes it will have those 3 shiny lines.
