The LR510 attys really are very nice. They perform wonderfully on a std 510 batt, a really nice vape at moderate voltage. They produce surprisingly good flavor too!!

The only problem is I just misplaced the only one I have :( Its missing somewhere out there in the world, along with a std 510 batt with a red led and a mostly filled nhaler signature tobacco flavored blue foamed cart. This is the first ecig I've misplaced in several months of vaping. I'm really glad I had other options on hand when this happened (lizard with a kr8 cart).

After this close call, I think I'm going to have to have some backups strategically placed, just in case, in my car at all times.

I think Isaac has a winner with the LR510s at 2.5 ohms. I'll be getting more of these real soon now.
How did I miss all of this?! Oh yea *cough* :D
I'm gflad that your really loving it Mr Madness!
That has to be the saddest e-cig missing story I ever heard! Talking about fully decked out and then just gone. :(  in that particular order. Yes, I like to keep a Lpv1 in my glove box and just top off the battery every few days. Cart loaded and all.

If your looking for an even more intense vape, we have 2.0Ω 901,801, and 510 in transit. ;)

2.5 Ohms is not an LR atty 1.5 Ohms is low resistance. I only raise this point because with all the attys out there it is important we label them correctly to be understood by others.
Not necessarily my good switcher. It is an Lr Atty. Joye 510's do have a 2.5Ω, but Sailebao's version of the 510 aka Clone was always 3.0Ω and still topped Joye in its debut http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rkings-joye-510-vs-clone-review-surprise.html Since the 3.5Ω proved to be a perfect fit at 5-6V, we thought we'll go down a few levels to 2.5Ω. Which turned out very nice by the way, not perfected for the High voltage experience, but still a very good cool feel. as if a standard should be.

Ok then... let's call this one the Goldilocks510 atty :)

Goldilocks found 3 ecigs on the table next to the largest chair. She puffed on the first one and said "Hmph, this 3.5 ohm atty is too cold." She puffed the second and said "Yikes, this 1.5 ohm atty is too hot!" Finally, she puffed on that last ecig and said...

"Ahhh... 2.5 ohms is just right."

Of course, being a good vaper, Goldilocks always has her multi-meter with her.

Gotcha, but we are talking 2 different attys and companies, and hence why we are confused.

I use my 3-3.5 Ohms SLBs at 5 volts, don't have a 6 volt device yet. At least I know where to find them if I want more. Because the're ones that came with my original 510, which of course was not a Joye.

I do have JoyE attys and yes they are 2.2-2.5 Ohms which I use on a daily basis. JoyE has come out with an LR atty, well not really JoyE perse, Drew introduce the craze with the Woody and Vapefest they are running at 1.5 Ohms.

In Saelbo's books the 2.5 is an LR, whilst in JoyE's books it's the 1.5.

So now I am intrigue wrt what Goldielocks was using before  and what voltage?

Good question. I started out using an m40x and wanted to try the 510 since so many rave about it.

So I order a 510 kit... but it wasn't a Joye at all... I ended up with two manual batts (not sure who made the batts) and two 3.5ohm DSE/SLB 510 attys. That is a piss poor combination, this combo really shouldn't be sold as a "kit". You have to lean hard on the button to get anything to happen, and it floods really easily. A very crappy frustrating experience. [These attys are usable at 5v, but not so great here either]

So then I ordered what I thought was an actual Joye510 atty (still not sure what that one really is although the vendor tells me its a Joye product). A definite improvement over the 3.5ohm things I got stuck with originally, but this atty measures the same as my 901 atty on a multi-meter (so hows that a Joye at 2.2???). [This 510 atty works well at 5v]

So then I got one of Isaac's LR510 attys. That one works for me at 3.7v (on those 510 batts and on the IMR16340). And according to both my multi-meter and my subjective vaping experience, its a lower resistance level than the other 510 attys I've tried. I don't think I've tried an actual Joye atty despite efforts to do so.

Gotcha Goldilocks :D

We were talking the same language. Your SLB LR at 2.5 Ohms is the same resistance as I have been privileged with since my humble beginings, with the exception of the SLBs 3-3.5 Ohms that came with my kit, and yes an SLB (which IMHO seems more durable) at 2.5 Ohms would do the trick quite reasily and send you to vaping heaven.

Now, JoyE produces a LR atty at 1.5 Ohms, which mimicks 6V vaping wrt TH and vapour, but at 3.7V. It also runs a little hot for my liking as well, which I am told is normal for HV vaping. I will find out once my lizard gets here and will let you know.

The good about this particular debate, is that I now have a source for 3-3.5 Ohm SLBs :D:D:D which I like at 5V but had difficulty finding i the past.

Lol All this talk about atomizers and where they came from, is now almost impossible to tell anymore. Here's a little food for thought with some mildly funny entertainment courtesy of our Chinese comrades.
What stemmed from this

Obviously these left Joye's hands as soon as they entered it. Keep in mind all the many many e-cig factories are on the same block. ;)

Lol Its even funnier because Janty is outraged because everyone is making these devices now with talks of lawsuits, when from the beginning they stole it from a member and cut him out! (ie. the 1st picture)
Isaac, shame, shame, shame on you. You know better that to say things like that. That will be 4 hail Mary's for you, thank you sir ;)

Very true... I think Cisco made a version before Janty and Joye did as well, unless that one at the top was his I can't remember (he has so many good ones).

And the CRACKEN slowly goes back to his lair...............

Nice dogs, are they regular Schnauzers? We have 3 Miniature Schnauzers and one Terrier, they are quite the handful and they think they are ten feet tall when comes to bigger dogs  I wouldn't want to see what would happen if something really did go down between them and a huge dog 8-o

Pss. The trap is set and they're just over the horizon

I guess it is true about how slow Lizards are  J/K IKEN!! :p

Hey Chev..The dogs are standard schnauzers LOL I know what you mean..My two think they are bullmastiffs when it comes to attitude. Wow your house must be fun with 3 mini's & a terrier running around!!They all get along good? My two are brother & sis!:2cool:

Two of our mini schnauzers are brothers and the other isn't, all boys...geesh. They are quite the handful but they are funny as hell some times, with four of them they do the craziest things. To be honest the terrier (Ozzy) is a handful all in himself, hes just so funny sometimes. When my father goes on the computer downstairs Ozzy always has to jump up on the computer desk (like 4 feet high) and lay by the keyboard so my father can pet him and he will sleep right there. He also sits on things that are way off the ground so when he does he looks almost level but he is sitting, then when you take him out to pee he pees on everything twice and at two different angles, OMG it is so funny.

EDIT: Oh I forgot to answer your question, they all get along "pretty" well. One of the minis (Nick) was spoiled by my grandmother and we got him awhile back when she passed. We used to let them all eat when they need to but ever since he came here we have to do a feeding schedule or he will eat all the food :) The reason I say pretty well is the terrier (Ozzy) always eats slow and Nick will finish before Ozzy starts and then hover over him and Ozzy will chase him off, it is funny. Also Ozzy has a kennel because he tears stuff up during the day (he really loves his kennel for some reason, he will go into it even when he doesn't have to and we never have to ask him too go in he just does, I have never seen another dog love his kennel) and Nick will try and go in Ozzy's kennel (when the door is open) and Ozzy will chase him off, he only lets one of the minis in his kennel, weird huh?
