Charging a 650 Auto

Hi,

I'm charging a X2 650 auto for the first time. It came with a full charge that I used up and when I plug it in for it's first time charging the light on the bottom doesn't come on. I left it on the charger for about 3 hours anyway but it doesn't seem to be charging.

Is the light on the bottom supposed to come on when it charges? I used the same cable (long/mini usb) and a 1.5A charger that I used on my new 1300 manual which charged fine. So I'm thinking it's the battery. Can someone tell me if it's something that I'm doing wrong?

Since you have another one, I'd use a different cable first. Sometimes these things are just fickle.

But yes, you should see the blue light.

Thanks, I thought the light should be on when charging like the manual.

I tried a different cable and a different charger so I guess no joy.

Put in a ticket with SI. Waiting to hear back.

Just a follow up. SI customer service put a new one right out in the mail to me, no questions asked.
