I'm absolutely certain that if you settle into a routine with your set of favorite juices and your favorite equipment and just replace the consumables it will save you money. The thing is though. There's always someone telling you this new gizmo is going to make your experience SOOOOO much better. You just can't resist trying it. Or your a gadget freak like me and start building stuff and you have to build a few of them to get it right and there's always something you should have added...

There's no end. :)

Well for me I have already broke even and saved just over 100.00$ or so it will say it in my signature But I also ordered my juice through china If I bought my juice locally I would actually be spending more to vape then to smoke analogs I use to roll my own and between 2 of us it would be 25.00 bucks each for a can of tobacco and tubes. So in any case in order to save money I had to order from china and so now at most that I would spend per week is 7.00$ so you can save money you just gotta find the right supplier.

If you want it to stay that way leave this forum now. Don't look at that new mod. The juice you are vaping now is good enough. RUN

Laughs ...

I already did, its to late. However, I think a person can actually get many things, and still save money. Its when you buy every mod ever made, that of course its going to cost you. I don't see anything wrong with that, if you can afford it. I cannot afford to spend more than I did smoking, which is actually quite a bit, so I still tend to watch my dollars.

You guys in the States have go it made! Here in the UK a 200-carton is now £67.00 - that's $110!! I just bought a Tornado Tank starter kit containing 2 x 650mah batteries, 2 atomizers, various tanks and e-liquid, USB and mains chargers etc for about 60 quid! Now all I have to buy is consumables. I figure I'm ahead after week 1 - and the government's not getting 80% of what I'm spending ;)

But... watch this space - if ecigs continue to replace analogs then the government is going to tax them too - FDA classification as a tobacco product must be a pointer to that - or am I being a total pessimist?

Nope Bob. MHRA(UK) are taking the same stance as FDA, desperately trying to classify as tobacco products when they are nicotine delivery systems. There is a consultation going on for a couple of years and we're warned that if e-cigs are perceived by the average person to be a cigarette quitting system they'll have to be licensed as medical aids. Rock and a hard place between the tobacco companies and Pharmaceutical companies:(

No kidding...

Started with a Mega T-rex, then someone mentioned HV so I purchased a 5v DIY mod kit. Built that and loved it, so I purchased a Roughstack... Then I hear about VV and now I want one of those too. I'm loving my new hobby, my wallet, not so much. :)

My wife and I smoked approximately 2 cartons a week. I've spend about $150 in my first month vaping, which is slightly more than what I would have spent in a week and a half smoking. I figure I've saved almost $250 in my first month, and have reinvested about $100 of that back into two additional Ego-Ts. Now that I've used the wick mod to fix the poor Ego-T wick, I believe I will be able to continue my savings well into the thousands in the next 3-4 months!

now that I found the website for my favorite e-juice flavors and unless I did the math wrong my juice cost is about 13 cents a ml now that I can DIY everything I need for about $24 month. I'm getting my lr atties from china for 3.50 a pop with shipping get about a month+ out of those and I use 3 reos all day long so it cost me about 35 bucks a month for vaping. 2 packs a day smoking at $6 a pack I'm ahead roughly $325.00 a month give or take a few bucks

If you do it smart you can save money, Buy in bulk. if you wanna use 510's buy 16 of them at wholesale prices and then sell them to friends, friends of friends or people at pubs etc.

I have spent 0 and made 0 and have been vaping for 1 year and 2 months.

Where do you get your wholesale attys?
After a month, 2 of mine finally died.
